1. Talk about the picture or tell a story.
2. Hold up your finger as if it is a candle and pretend to puff it out, saying p, p, p, p.
3. Trace the cut out ‹p› with your finger.
4. Listen for the /p/ in puff, pink, cup, pop, spinning top, cupcakes, pen, purple, parrot, popcorn, presents, pencils, paintbrush, apple pie, polar bear, and peanut butter, and find the items in the picture.
5. Read the words.

Learn the letter sounds with Finger Phonics
