The Phonics Pupil Books teach the skills needed for reading and writing.
With Phonics Pupil Book 3, children can build upon the reading and writing skills they learnt in Phonics Pupil Books 1 and 2. In this book, the children learn how to use their knowledge of the alternative letter-sound spellings for writing, as well as for reading. The remaining tricky words are introduced, and a number of independent writing exercises encourage the children to write freely. The Phonics Pupil Books are designed specifically for use with the Phonics Teacher’s Book. The following products can also be used to support the phonics teaching: Phonics for the Whiteboard, Jolly Phonics Cards, Jolly Phonics Readers, Phonics Games CD, Finger Phonics Books, Tricky Word Wall Flowers and many more. This material is recommended by Cambridge International Examinations to support the Cambridge Primary English Stage 1 syllabus.
