Objectives:
Pop Art Cabin
The intention of the project was to modify and design a small cabin sturcture for vacationing with an inspired theme from the Pop Art movement, in which reminds the client of their youth. As a requirement, the famous work of art “In the car� by Roy Lichtenstein must be included in one room of the cabin.

Concept: The cabin is designed with some elements inspired by the 50’s style, such as furnishings and lighting fixtures. It also contains a mix from the brightful and colorful sensation from PoP Art. First thing when they step foot in the cabin, they will experience splashes of colors while entering, as well for each room.

Objectives: Design the interior of the first floor level as a book store providing a space for a small coffee shop, reading area and a personal office. Meanwhile, the second floor level it will be the owner’s home. Both of the levels have to match with the concept chosen.

Concept: “Hangout Comics“ “Hangout Comics” is a comic book store inspired by the Memphis style. The bold and vibrant color scheme of the space can be associated with both concepts: comic books and as well for the memphis style. The purpose is to offer the user a fun experience, transmitting a sense of youth to anyone who sets foot in the place.

Objectives: Design a double height apartment for a Spanish family. Consisting of a young professional couple, their child and the grandmother. The grandmother will have an independent space, but will share some areas with the main apartment. Both apartments must be specially interconnected.

Concept: The apartment is inspired by the open space concept in which will be the communal areas. Consisting of a large open kitchen providing enough space for one of the profesionals that is a chef. It also has an Indoor patio for relaxing with a small garden of herbs and spices that can be used in the kitchen.
Moreover, the color scheme used in the apartment is earth like colors and materials that resembles the Catalan style, making the space feel more like their hometown.

Concept: “Together We Are More” The proposal is to unify two generations (millenials and our grandparents) in one single place: a dining space in our university. This is our way of showing the appreciation for the people that have steered the propagation of our traditional food, and most importantly it’s the perfect way for us youngsters to

The stucture is a resilient modular residence. The aim is to create a link with the community of functional diversity, serving by sensitizing to their needs. It seeks to provide the adaptability that allows greater independence in the home and its surroundings, giving a greater security to people with significant disabilities.

Concept: “Design for Functional Diversity” The seed module remained as the substantial element of the project including everything that carries water service. With the arrangement of these modules, the concept is created primordial of our project which is the letter “H”. This form allows the disabled person can transit easily without obstacles or complicated turns.

Jomary Torres Bio
Currently persuing her title as an Interior Designer at Ana G. MĂŠndez
University, Jomary was involved in the creative fields since her younger years. To begin, plastic arts was a big interest in her childhood, where later on, she decided to study in a Fine Arts School most of her school years. In highschool, she had applied for Architectural Drawing in a Technical Vocational Highschool in which she acquired knowledge in the elaboration of floor plans and construction plans. These disciplines allowed her to have an advantage and insight to the formation of her professional career. Learning skills such as: conceptualizing ideas, space planning,
