Qui c’è l’ultimo party privato! Sull’onda della prima, ecco una nuova edizione del “Compendium — the designer’s style book”. Non prevista. Infatti non pensavo di riuscire a raccogliere ancora così tanti contributi... E nonostante tutto in fretta. Anche se, a dire la verità, per un lungo periodo ho lasciato perdere tutto. Ma ecco che finalmente arriva la spinta finale, fino a quando tutti i file che avete spedito sono diventati quello che avete in mano. Un’idea partita da un vecchio album che alle scuole elementari si passava tra compagni e ognuno su una pagina lasciava la sua impronta, ecco un comodo libretto tascabile da sfogliare alla ricerca di uno stile, un mood, un’ispirazione... Un luogo dove tutti possono sfoggiare il loro talento, i loro lavori, che da internet si trasferisce sulla carta, come una “fotografia” di ciò che è accaduto in quel momento. C’è stato un grande “party privato”, discreto, silenzioso, dove pochi sono entrati e vi hanno partecipato, per una volta tutti insieme. Ringrazio tutti coloro che hanno preso parte a questo progetto, che sia la prima o la seconda edizione del “Compendium”. Penso che questa sarà l’ultima (ehm, insomma, problemi di budget...). Tuttavia, se in uno slancio di generosità volete sostenere o far sostenere questa iniziativa, lascio il numero di conto per effettuare un versamento,... non si sa mai! Here’s the last private party! Ladies and gentlemen, in your hands you are holding the latest release of the “Compendium, the Designer’s Style Book”. This simple fact is in itself surprising as I wasn’t expecting to receive so much material in such a short time! The new release is the result of a last minute rush (as always), putting together the many items sent to me. The “Compendium” idea was inspired by the primary school books where classmates were forced to leave a reminder, usually a drawing, as a kind of footprint, a sign of your presence, “Kilroy was Here”. In this handy format you have quick access to a wide variety of styles, moods, ideas, sketches and inspirations. This is a mini gallery where anyone can exhibit. For me the experience has been like a silent, discreet, private party, and I thank you all for participating (either by submitting, or by holding the compendium in your hands). This will likely be the last release, unless of course you feel the urge to support a future release through donations. 最後のプライベート・パーティー

皆さん、こちらが一体どういう風に仕上がるのか私が全く予想もできなかった、新しくリリースされたデザイナーズ・スタイル・ブックです。実際、比較的短い期間でこんなに多くの作品をまた集めることができるとは思ってもいませんでした。私の元に届いた多くの作品ファイルを最後の慌しい仕上げののち、ついに皆さんにお届けできます。そしてそれが今皆さんの手元にあるのです。小学生時代に思い出を残すためにクラスメート達が書き残した絵や指紋などのアイデアがスタイルやムード、インスピレーション等が盛り込まれたこのような冊子になりました。創作という時間を写真に納めたようなもの、ファイルデータから紙へ印刷され、誰でも自分の才能や作品を紹介できる場所です。ということで、価値のある素晴らしいものであり、作品を掲載されているアーティスト達が1度に皆が一緒に集う、どこか控えめなプライベート・パーティーのようでもあります。前回と今回のプロジェクトに参加してくれた皆さんに心から感謝します。実は今回で最後になると思っています。 (予算的に厳しいので…) もし、ご好意でこのプロジェクトをサポートしたいという方のために、こちらに私の銀行口座番号を記しておきます。 Jona Mantovan / CH - 6963 Pregassona Account number: 65-162723-2 IBAN C H 7 0 0 9 0 0 0 0 0 0 6 5 1 6 2 7 2 3 2
