brings the Business District closer yet it also creates limitations within its environment due to a lack of socio-urban activity. such areas create a homogeneity and predictability in their environment making it dull activities that take place within the architecture of the area they compose, ignoring the spaces and relationships between the buildings.
Although these areas create predictable environments, such people within such areas are grouped closely within the social clusters of the population and do not allow for the inclusion of various social groups; thus limiting the area further through the homogenization mechanism, which separates the various social strata of the city,

CONCEPT & DEVELOPMENT In order for the design to achieve an autonomy and a more transparent relationship with its surroundings it was built upon the characteristics of the human movement around the site. Any movement takes place in a certain direction and can be represented by a linear vector. As the human circulation at the site curves around the building, the movement was captured by visualizing it as multiple vectors that were tangential to were then replaced by rectangular blocks that represented multiple linear passageways that

As the aim was to create a direct relationship between the circulation on the ground as well as a method by which it could continue upwards, the series of passageway blocks stack upon one another translating the movements around the blocks create an intersection with the higher levels the site allows for a new entity to take its place within the structure also breaking the rigidity of -

PT1METABOLIC HOUSING singapore is a small island in the heart of southeast Asia, and the country’s population has been rapidly increasing over the years. such circumstances have made the city incredibly dense and being a small Island, the county has a limited amount living in public housing it has generated the need for numerous housing developments that make up a large part of singapore’s

It looks at connecting circulation paths from the developments on the mainland to the developments on the island in order to create a cohesive network. A
grid derived through the intersecting of circulatory pathways from one side to the other provides points of concentration which are established as areas for modular an initial value of four blocks connected develops additional blocks are to be connected by bridges act as an adhesive, stitching the two landmasses together. such developments hope to make land reclamation a secondary method for such circumstances.

ARCHIVE OF ART since its independence, singapore has become one of the leading countries with a massive increase in it’s wealth, and has become an economic hub competing with some of the worlds most developed countries. But unlike many of the other developed nations, singapore is still comparatively young and growth has placed it amongst a globally competitive market at such an accelerated rate that the country has barely had time to cultivate and grow its national culture during its period of growth. national Culture, a proposal for an Archive of Art which makes

BENCh FOR MARINA BAy A bench design for a competition which was part of a collaborative undertaking between the urban Redevelopment Authority (uRA), LASALLE College of the Arts and Marina Bay Singapore. The Project involves the placement of an outdoor bench along the Waterfront Promenade at Marina Bay Singapore. The bench named Drift Wood represents a fragment of a ship that drifts on the Singapore presence as a port city.

Durability has always been looked upon as rigid and unresponsive, many times the beauty and receptive the process of creating something durable. even the word “durable sounds crude compared to a word the nature of creating a piece that is both durable is formed using two pieces of bent plywood supported by a welded aluminum frame creating a seamless support.

Mined Body Photo Manipulation
Although at times mines are a beautiful sight, they are the symbol of man’s unstoppable minerals for as long as we know; we wound the earth with our machines and leave it scarred and abandoned once they are of no more use. one may question it a necessary the mining of the earth to the human body in order to create an empathic feeling towards the earth as it becomes more relatable through the representation of a human body.
