MASTERWORKS II It has been another extraordinary year in our gallery in Chelsea. Our schedule of exhibitions and art fairs that we have followed for years again changed. Once again, there were no art fairs. Our flagship fair Masterpiece was cancelled except for one online; but this is no substitute for the actual event. For October last year, 2020, we had the idea of inviting those artists that we exhibit at Masterpiece to submit a work that they were particularly proud of for a Masterworks Exhibition. Thankfully they rose to the occasion, and we had great success on our hands. The quality of the work shone through, and we did very well. Once again, this year, there was no Masterpiece, so we have followed the winning formula and planned Masterworks II. Perhaps this may become an annual event due to the healthy response, even though fairs are back on the agenda. My artists have submitted some extraordinary works of excellent quality; many are now leaders in their field. They come from Canada, America, China, Australia, one from the lovely Island of Guernsey, and of course England; we travel far to find them. Enjoy this collection, come and see us and you will be guaranteed a warm welcome. Jonathan Cooper, October 2021
