Urban farming
The fort worth urban farming center sits on universtiy drive, across from the modern art museum. The facility will serve to grow and provide produce, educate guests, and research urban farming techniques.
The main entry sequence from the west side allows guests to slowly separate themselves from the city life. the site development and landscaping purposefully work to create experiential spaces that pull the guest away from the noise and hustle of the city. the structure is very exposed with large amounts of glazing of the greenhouse space in order to decrease the differentiation between what is exterior and interior.
guest experiences range from leisure on the greenroof and cafe space, to learning about urban farming in the hydroponic demo space and outdoor garden.

CAN AI BE HELPFUL IN THE DESIGN PROCESS? TO WHAT EXTENT CAN AI BE USED TO AID DESIGN?
3 MAIN STEPS, FLUID IN NATURE, WHERE THE DESIGNER CAN GO BACK AND FORTH UNTIL THE DESIRED OUTCOME IS REACHED.
FOR THE NATIVE NATIONS CENTER:
STEP 1 : IDEAS AND THEMES FROM LAURA HARJO’S BOOK “SPIRAL TO THE STARS” TO CREATE ABSTRACT MOOD BASED SPACIAL QUALITIES, AS WELL AS FORMAL ARCHITECTURAL SPACES AND FORMS.
STEP 2 : THE DESIGNER DEVELOPING A FORMAL ARCHITECTURAL SCHEMATIC DESIGN BASED OFF OF THE IMAGES DEVELOPED THROUGH MIDJOURNEY AI.
STEP 3 : FEEDING MIDJOURNEY AI SIMPLE RENDERS OF THE DESIGNER’S SCHEMATIC DESIGN TO FURTHER DEVELOP OR CREATE NEW IDEAS OF THE SPACES AND FACADE.

lake thunderbird
the lake thunderbird equestrian center is located in Norman, oklahoma. sitting just northwest of the shoreline, the equiine facility provides a place for both horses and people to connect. mainly comprised of stables, the construct encapsulates spaces such as; offices, restrooms, a horse wash room, a ferrier station, and storage. an arena sits adjacent for horses to train. the equestrian center uses natural ventilation with large garage doors that allow for circulation. natural light is utilized with glazing all around located specifically by the sun patterns of the location.
