Hides the block from student users, click on the “eye” again and the block becomes visible.
Various Block Descriptions Activities Block lists and allows navigation between the different activities available in your course. (Forums, assignments, quizzes etc.) Blog Tags Block displays a list of blogs where font size visually indicates each blog's use. Global Search Block allows users to search all activities. HTML Block can be used to add text, images, and links, embed video, sounds or flash. Latest News Block recent posts in your courses news forum will be displayed here. Loan Calculator Block allows students to calculate interest. Messages Block displays a list of new messages you have received through moodle . Quiz Results Block if you have a quiz in your course, this block will display the highest and lowest scores. Random Glossary Entry Block will display random entries from your glossary. Could also be used for quote of the day, random pictures or history bytes. Recent Activity Block lists updates to activities and resources since the user last accessed the course. Remote RSS Feed Block displays RSS feeds from other websites. Any site that has RSS could be used. CBC, CNN, Space Search Forum Block search course forums for keywords or phrases. Upcoming Events Block displays events generated from the calendar.
