The hive’s organization masterplan 1:1000 Two scales and two geometries: in the short scale we saw geometric organization (hexagons) such as grid for humans, and in the large scale organic shapes (honeycombs) such as territorial morphologies (creek, topography) for us.

The goal is to emphasize the site to connect organic entities. The grid structures the park as a accident, no more as a dominance.

The swarms large scale strategy The large scale extension strategy’s goal is to indentify in the territory best places for future swarms. The idea is to enhance a new territorial network, through the NW-SE Belt and the transversal territorial features (Creeks).

The grid can organize vegetation. Ranges and parkways structure the space and conduct people.
Frank limits define spaces, the contrast is strong.

Disorderly vegetation’s organization mights lost people: just the walk matters.
Olmsted was used to swindle the limit with the succession of plans. It improves transition spaces and variations of intensity.

A road in the park
Clearing and meadows are heritage of picturesque style. Today they purpose a huge diversity of uses, particularly for games.
To extend boundaries of the park is the opportunity to absorb the limits due to the transportations lines.

Flows of bees connexions and network’s enhancement To emphasize the park is not enough to link it to the network. Physical (flow) connexions have to be improved. They are many possibilities to cross El Camino and the railway: up, under or at the same level.
