“Evacuate! Evacuate! Evacuate!” screamed a voice on the radio. “Mount Vesuvius will erupt in about 7 hours!” We had been waiting for this announcement for a couple of weeks and now it was real. Mt Vesuvius was going to erupt! I started to pack my belongings into a small suitcase, including as many important things as I could. I put the suitcase on my bed and thought about it. “What are the most valuable items that I need? Where are we going to evacuate to?” These thoughts raced through my mind. I looked around my room and I found my laptop my snacks my toys and my clothes. After I finished packing, witch was one hour later, I went to my mom’s room she said that mum and dad would be alright. “I really want to stay!” I yelled at my mom. My mum said that I would have to go to but I asked myself, where am I being evacuated to? I asked my mum where I am evacuated to, she said that I will be evacuated to Avellino the country side of Italy. I was really scared to go but I had to go so I hurried up to go to the train station when I went there the train was full and I had to wait for another 5 hours but another hour already past so I will have to leave when the volcano erupts. There was not many people left in the city so the parents could come, but I live far away from home it would take me one hour to get home and it would take my parents two hours to pack and it would take an hour to go back to the station, so I have to call my mum, I’m lucky that my mum put a phone in my bag so that I can call. I started to call. “Hello,” my mum said. “Mummm! You have to pack and come to the train station now!!!”I was yelling into her ear. “Why?” Mum asked. “Because I missed the train and I have to wait for another five hours, there is not many people left in the city so the next train can let parents go so I want you and dad to pack strait away! Then come to the train station and the next train is a bullet train because if it was a steam engine we would not get out of the city in time so please hurry!!!” “Ok,” mum said. Mum and dad stared packing and they were so fast at packing that they improved their time at packing. They packed all of their stuff in just one hour. Then it took them one hour to get to the train station.
“Mum dad! You improved your time at packing all of your stuff now we just have to wait for another three hours,” I said happily. (Another three hours have gone by and the bullet train is approaching.) The train started to come and the volcano is about to erupt. “Hurry, get on the train!” I yelled. Everybody got on the train even the other parents and nothing was left behind. The bullet train zoomed out of the city and into the countryside (Avellino). Everybody enjoyed their life after the volcanic eruption because they don’t have to live near a volcano anymore.
