Hot Habitats • Hot habitats include: Deserts • Deserts can be very hot at day time and very cold at night time so it`s almost impossible for a human to survive! • Deserts have living things like Arabian Camels, Bandicoots (Bandicoots are marsupials with pointy snouts ), Bighorn sheep, Armadillo etc.


Plants In The Desert In the Deserts there ARE plants like:  Saguaro Cactus  Tumble Weed  Prickly Pear Cacti  Mexican Poppies  Weathered Trees  And Wildflowers


Where Deserts Are


Cold Habitats • Cold habitats are: Tundra`s Polar Region

The North Pole is made of Ice and the Antarctic is made of land with Ice on top.


Living Things……. The animals there are: Polar Bears ( North pole ) Penguins ( Antarctic ) Snowy owl (Tundra regions of North America and Eurasia )  Arctic Fox (Northern Hemisphere )

Wetlands • Wetlands are a bit like rainforests but there are others: Moorland Swamps Marshes Peat lands Savannah


Animals In Wetlands • In Wetlands there are animals such as: Great Blue Heron Painted Turtle Chorus Frog Green Heron Marsh Wren Mink Muskrat

Dry Lands • Dry Lands are mainly dry, dry lands can appear in these countries: Kenya Niger Nigeria Senegal


What Animals Live In Dry Lands? • Actually giraffes also live in dry lands like the savannah, so a savannah is also a dry land!
