What is tsunami?  a tsunami is a series of waves that sends surges of water, sometimes reaching heights over 100 feet (30.5), onto land. these walls of water can cause widespread destruction when they crash.
tsunami causes and its real name? Tsunamis are very large ocean waves caused by a underwater earthquake or volcanic eruption. Tsunami is a Japanese word that has a English translation, “harbour wave” represented by two characters the top character “tsu” means harbour while the bottom “nami” meant wave! Did you know the name for the 2004 tsunami? the name was boxing day tsunami.
Where is the first and last tsunami found also which killed the most people ?  The last tsunamis have been occurring for thousands of years, long before written records. It is unknown when or where the last tsunami took place. The last tsunami took place in Japan 2011.  Jan 7,2004-the earthquake that generated the Indian ocean tsunami of 2004 is in 11 countries, making it the most destructive tsunami in history.
where are tsunamis located ?  Tsunamis take place in the ocean, seas, and other large bodies of water. they occur particularly where there are underwater fault lines that cause earthquakes or u underwater volcanoes. However, rarely a meteor or asteroid can also cause a tsunami, even relatively calm area.

Tsunamis are sometimes called tidal waves which is misleading because tsunamis have nothing to do with tsunamis.

1958 the tsunami was 7120 feet .
 There is no small tsunami because all off them are big it is unknown which is the smallest tsunami because tsunamis grow larger after each tsunami has hit.
