childhood
Vincent Van Gogh was born on March 30 th 1853 in The town of Zundert, Holland. He had three sisters ,Elisabeth, Anna and Wil and two brothers Thèo and Cor. In 1860 Vincent began attending the Zundert village school. He remained there for only one year, and then continued his education in his home with his sister Anna, until he was sent away to boarding school in 1864. He was sent to Tilburg Middle school where he was given his first drawing instructions, as a teenager he painted regularly.
Early courier For his job, Vincent went to Brussels, Belgium to paint and draw. when Vincent was about 27 or 28, he was very serious about exploring art. In 1886 he went to Paris to join his brother ThĂŠo, where he met Pissarro, Monet, Gauguin and other great artists at the time, he began to lighten his pallet and make shorter brush strokes. His nervous temperament made him a difficult companion and night-long discussions combined with painting all day undermined his health. In 1888 he decided to go south to Arles. But Gauguin stopped him and that is when he tragically cut of his left ear due to bipolar disorder.
Final years He was recovering in 1890 at the H么tel-Dieu hospital in Arles. Only two months later, he shot him self with a pistol because again of bipolar disorder. It was a shame that such a talented artist like him died because of committing suicide (killing your self) This is the photo of his gravestone: As you can see there is a little sunflower resting with Vincent, His favourite flower was the sunflower and his favourite color was obviously yellow.
