Welcome' Thank!you!for!joining!us!today!as!we!gather!together!to!worship!our!Savior!and!King,!Jesus.!!This! service!is!a!liturgical!service,!meaning!the!congregation!is!an!active!participant.!Theologian!James! K.A.!Smith!writes,!liturgy!“shapes!and!constitutes!our!identity!by!forming!our!most!basic! attunement!to!the!world...!our!ultimate!love/desire!is!shaped!by!practices,!not![only]!ideas!that! are!merely!communicated!to!us.”!!So!we!orient!our!heart!and!mind!through!the!rhythm!of!poetry,! song,!vows,!music,!bread!and!wine.!And!through!that!process,!we!immerse!ourselves!into!the! ancient!story!of!the!Christian!faith.!!
