Concerts to Look Forward to in 2023
by Jon Heindel | Mar 1, 2023 | Concerts, Guitar, Jon Heindel, MusicLast year was a great year for the re-emergence of concerts. People who love music were back to doing what they love the most: witnessing music live. It’s also been a time when fans remember why live music is important. Many artists who were forced to cancel their tours due to the pandemic have returned. The shows were spectacular, and we expect even bigger concerts in 2023.
Blink-182
In 2023, long-time fans of Blink-182 will get to see the band’s original lineup perform together for the rst time since 2006. Travis Barker, Mark Hoppus, and Tom DeLonge will be releasing new music.
On October 14, 2022, the band released “Edging,” which was a song that was dedicated to their announcement. We’re so excited for their upcoming world tour, which will begin in 2023 and run until February 2024.
SZA
Since her “The Championship” Tour in 2018, Solana Imani Rowe, also known as SZA, has not been touring. She only performed at a few shows, such as Outside Lands.
SZA released her much-anticipated sophomore album, SOS, on December 9, 2022, and just a week later, she dropped the music video for her song “Nobody Gets Me.” The fans were immediately excited about the new album, and they had waited several years for it. Less than a week after the album’s release, SZA announced that she was going on her rst-ever North American tour.
The “SZA: The O.S. North American Tour” will begin on February 21 and will end on March 22 at the Knickerbocker Forum in Inglewood, California. SZA will also be joined by Omar Apollo for her shows.
Bruce Springsteen
In 2019, Bruce revealed that he would be going on a tour with the E Street Band, but the tour was postponed due to the outbreak of the Covid pandemic.
The dates for Bruce’s upcoming tour have been announced. In 2023, he and the E Street Band will be touring across Europe and North America, and the rst show will be held in Tampa. It will be the rst time that The Boss has played with the band since 2017.
Taylor Swift
After Taylor Swift released her tenth studio album, “Midnights,” on October 21, rumors about her upcoming tour began to emerge. Swift then con rmed what her fans had been waiting for by announcing that she would be going on a massive worldwide tour in 2023.
Before the outbreak of COVID, Taylor Swift had been planning on holding various Love Fest shows all around the world. Unfortunately, the cancellations were never rescheduled. The last time that Swift went on tour was her Reputation Tour in 2018.
It has been almost ve years since Taylor Swift last toured. Fans had been waiting for this moment, and they were thrilled when tickets for her “Eras” Tour went on sale. If you can get in line, you might be able to see Taylor Swift perform in 2023.
