YESMAN. PERFORMANCE+ INSTALLATION.

What if ‘yes’ was the only answer? Where would you end up? What story could you tell? What character would you become? A public installation aimed at getting people to interact and evoke them to think in ways they usually wouldn’t. REVEAL. CORPORATE BRANDING+ INTERACTIVE INSTALLATION.

Brand identity through interaction journey experience. Reveal is an interactive installation that is positioned within unutilised space that surrounds every workspace. The intention in utilising this space is to convey an overall brand identity and also create a motivational and inspirational space for employees and clients. The participant is engaged through the tactile senses, enticed to interact with the flexible environment. The wall installation can be used to reveal brand messages, brand values or any aspect of a brands’ identity.

HIVE. INTERACTIVE+ WEARABLE

Hive is a sculptural, interactive garment that manifests as a sculptural piece that references the movement and structure of the human shoulder joint in a simple but dynamic way. Hive was created through the recycling of abandoned beehives, using both the honeycomb and the framing to spark a wide spectrum of senses that include smell, touch, texture, light quality, and a rich aesthetic.

TIHEI MAURI ORA. SPATIAL+ INTERACTIVE +MEDIA.

An interactive spatial installation that exhibits the Maori Creation Myth for all to experience. A large fabric membrane takes the shape of the tales narrative expressed fully through journey and experience. Embedded with sensor technology the fabric skin acts as a three-dimensional interface, of which the participant can push and pull to shape their experience. Through exploration the space becomes filled with sound of the Maori aural language, and projected images illuminating the fabrics’ skin, morphing with the participants’ interaction and movement. FLUORO. LIGHTING+ CONCEPT.

An un-intentional aesthetic. The term un-intention was recognised to describe this outcome of error. Unintention can be seen as an aesthetic that surrounds us in our existing environment, an aesthetic sometimes more common than not, unnoticed and unutilised for its underlining beauty. This piece is a part of a series of explorations into this concept where a bunch of disregarded fluorescent tubes have been re-illuminated in a context outside their original purpose.
