Sunny Honey For three years in succession, the largest salmon in the Finnish Championship in Helsinki fell to these colours. Coincidence? Hardly. An outstanding lure in murky waters and light algae. Highly successful in the top 15 metres.

Black Devil Black Shiner resp. Black Devil A natural colour pattern in black/glow or with a holographic film guarantees large catches in all conditions. If you are going deep, we recommend combining with the Glow colour (No. 1).

Fog Killer As the name suggests, this lure is most suited to adverse weather, mornings and evenings the most productive.

Gold Green Dolphin Green and neon yellow on gold is often the winner on heavily fished estuaries. The somewhat more discreet colours catch in the top 15 metres in sunny weather.

Bloody Tail This red-tailed lure has already given many a fish a bloody nose. With its fluorescent colours the lure is a hit on the surface in overcast weather or on a downrigger whatever the light conditions. The mother-of-pearl lacquer on the inner side provides additional attraction.

Watermelon With black spots, red pulp and green sides – even if salmonids are no vegetarians, these colours have proven successful. These retro colours have been popular for decades in sunny conditions and near the surface. Rhino is bringing them back to the market with a modern flash design and highly vivid colours to amplify the contrast!

Rainbow Trout A rainbow in the evening always brings fish! Yet even in poor weather and on a downrigger, you should always have these colours in the water.

Backside: Real Gold Crystal Frog Froggy – a lure that no trolling tackle box should be without! The high-quality crystal lacquer enhances the attraction of this colour pattern, producing vastly increased success rates. The lure can be fished successfully at all depths and in all weather conditions. Also try it with white inner foil when fishing way down deep on a downrigger! Master Herring Green & silver and blue & silver – both classics in clear water. When combined on a spoon they are a perfect match, whether sunny or overcast.

Black Gold Angel Natural colours on a golden spoon are often advantageous in clear water. Particularly recommended in sunny conditions.

Pink Sunshine Bright colours often tempt bites from large spawning salmon. The UV-active yellow means the lure is equally effective on the surface or on a downrigger. Backside: Real Copper Rügen Green-yellow-green is always a deadly combination. In sunny weather and where there is a buildup of algae, these colours deliver the goods. With its fluorescent colours the lure has an excellent success rate from the surface down to 60 feet on a downrigger. As with the Bloody Tail, the red stripe results in extra fish on the bank.

Copper Master Herring A subtle blue-green pattern on a copper spoon. Fish are always tempted to take a closer look when the sun is shining and in clear water. Too many silver reflections can actually scare them off. This is where the copper spoon comes into its own – often less is more!

Taff Inaff The lure used by German trolling expert Frerk Petersen to land many a monster salmon. Works brilliantly on a downrigger at 50 to 60 feet when the sun is shining but always worth a try on the surface too.

Backside: Copper Glow Blue Shiner Most glow lures glow green – and the fish know this. On heavily-fished estuaries, a blue glow lure makes the subtle difference that results in more fish on the hook.

We have added a natural bait system into the Rhino Bait Holder range that immediately convinced us in practical testing on the Baltic Sea: The range comprises natural bait heads in two sizes and ten colours: The new heads were developed by Mika Kampmann and are based upon real fish. It is the combination of accuracy and alluring bait action that makes this system so exceptional. No effort is required when it comes to set-up in almost all cases. The large head has been tailor made for herring and the smaller model for roach and similar species. Using both heads allows a broad range of various deadbaits (10 - 28cm) to be brought to bear. When it came to selecting colours, we called upon both the tried and trusted Rhino colours as well as recommendations from experience with natural bait systems. The pod can be set up to hold rods securely at an enormous height (over 250cm) and allows the angler to hold lines out of the water over extreme distances, especially when river fishing, guaranteeing perfect contact with the bait.
