The Ryan Bouman Film brand is a unified blend of a few different, but complementary, messages. One of the messages is Ryan Bouman Film’s laid-back west coast vibe; love of spirituality, nature and freedom; and his individuality. The other is the trustworthy, professional, artistic nature of the company’s craft and services.


L OG OS.



T H E F OX. The most recognizable aspects of the Ryan Bouman Film brand are the imagery and the fox. The fox is badass. On a surface level, the fox is uncommon as a brand symbol and thus it is both distinguishing and memorable. Also, the fox represents the uniqueness of Ryan Bouman Film, important in the film industry in and of itself, and frankly it has a certain hipster quality, but a lasting one. More cryptically, the fox symbolizes wit and craftiness - though not necessarily evil. In Finnish folklore, the fox symbolizes the victory of intelligence over malevolence. In a way, this ties in to Ryan’s belief in love and inherent goodness in the world, while the folkloric aspect represents his spirituality. Within Ryan Bouman Film’s brand, the fox also symbolizes the “smart” quality of his work, and his love of nature.



F ON T S. The fonts have a look that is respectable, professional, and personable. While the main header font looks harsh in regular, italicized it looks sleek and refined. Italics are often used to convey emotion in written English, an association that speaks to the way Ryan Bouman Film interacts with its clients, and the romantic essence of his videos. The secondary font is fun and light, and will give the impression that Ryan Bouman Film isn’t trying too hard and doesn’t take itself too seriously. Combined, the fonts are stylish and command respect while remaining artistic.



CO L OU RS. The colors are masculine and timeless, allowing the brand to be carried over into other types of filmmaking while still having a distinctly romantic essence that works well for wedding videos. The colors are west-coast, putting people at ease.

The intimate outdoor shots play on Ryan’s love of nature - something that he ties into most of his videos.
