Experienced architectural assistant seeking Part II placement. Industry experience includes MCW Architects Cambridge, HOK Architects London and OZ Architects Amsterdam. My research at the Mackintosh School of Architecture, the Sheffield School of Architecture and the University of Hong Kong (incl. the Shanghai Studio) focuses on using public architecture and industrial architecture to regenerate post-industrial contexts in a environmentally responsive, culturally and socially engaged way. Commercial experience includes competition projects and education projects in the UK and the Netherlands.

Part II Architectural Assistant MCW Architects Cambridge: May 2023 - June 2024 First 6 months I worked on London Metropolitan University in London, Work-Stages 01-03. I produced floorplans, sections, elevations and diagrams. Second 6 months, I worked on Anglia Ruskin University in Cambridge, Work-Stage 04, where I produced construction details and floorplans, sections and elevations for the external envelope. I was the CPD coordinator and organised CPD lunchtime presentations for 6 months. I communicated with manufacturers to obtain samples and liaised with my supervisors to produce PEDR sheets.

Part I Architectural Assistant OZ Architects Amsterdam: May - Dec 2018 Codam project Work-Stage 04: Produced hand drawn floorplans and a presentation booklet including a furniture layout (interior design). Elzenhoeve Nieuwegein project Work-Stage 02: Produced physical site model, presentation booklet including adobe illustrator made diagrams and Revit 3D model. Ruimterweg project Work-Stage 02: Produced a physical model.

Part I Architectural Assistant HOK Architects London: Sept 2016 - June 2017 Clapham residential competition project Work Stage 04, produced renders on Adobe Photoshop. GOSH Children’s Hospital Work-Stage 02, produced floorplans and sections on Revit. Kuwait University project Work-Stage 02: Produced 3D printed and Laser-Cut models and modelled façade options on Revit.

Architecture Internship: HMKM: Aug 2012 (2 weeks) Assistant, working in the presentation of work for multiple projects. Written essay on retail interior design project Oxford Street, London. Attended meeting with American clients.

Architecture Internship: Sidell Gibson Architects: July 2011 (2 weeks) Site visit to One New Change opposite St. Paul’s Cathedral. Presentation booklet on the Institute for Islamic Studies in Cambridge.

Architecture Volunteering | Mentoring: Prince’s Trust Construkt Programme: June 2022 (2 weeks) Site Visit to Kensington Olympia. Constructed a large timber model within a team. Presented our work to an audience.

Architecture Volunteering | Mentoring: Tutor Project at HKU Hong Kong: July 2015 (1 month) Worked with a Tutor on multiple concrete model towers.
