VACHERON / CONSTANTIN Gong Repeater. Vacheron Constantin. Geneve 2014// //The concept of “Gong Repeater” becomes directly from the mechanical techniques in the world of “Haute Horlogerie”. I thought interesting to explore the relationship between time and sound. Since it is one of the ancient methods we use to communicate the time or the events within our community. This idea fascinated me and I wanted to create a device that only through sound will explain the time. The product design from three points. The first was to obtain a unique and mystical sound to convey these ancestral values and Tibetan bowls were the perfect ring. The second was to convey the heritage of “Vacheron Constantin” and decided to ring the bell as the complication of “Minute Repeater” and finally a functional need technology that adapts to the exhibition requires.//
