utumn / Winter 2017 - 2018 will be a season redefining bonds; creating new ones and restoring old ones, with others and ourselves. People will be concerned with connecting to the present moment, rather than forward thoughts of the ambiguous future.

H

umbled roots, Purposeful Living, Natural Curiosity, Feminine Revolt, and Small-town comfort are all concepts that feature ways in which society will evolve to be. Humbled roots focuses on reconnecting with our beginnings; Purposeful Living is inspired by international architecture; Natural Curiosity targets holistic living and the importance of living a well balanced life where mind, body, and soul become one; Feminine Revolt features the femininity of transparency; Small-town comfort embodies a sense of community, disregarding the over-glamorized world of Hollywood.

These

ideals will resonate within our living spaces, the food we eat, the way in which we live our lives, our personal style, social interactions, and beyond. In totality, 2017-2018 will be a year of self-assurance and self-actualization through a journey of personal experiences and reflection.

Humbled Roots The

21st century; a revolutionary time period with its ever changing technological advances. Somehow, we’ve over stepped boundaries, becoming so concerned with what’s next, new, and on the rise. We’ve forgotten to appreciate the simple things. We sleep with our mobile devices, check text messages before we ever get out of bed, text more than we engage in conversation, and scour the internet more than being active. Inspired my imagery that has missing elements, this season we’ll go back to our humbled roots, strip back and start from scratch. The beginning; a blank canvas; when life wasn’t so complex.
