EET Group was founded in Sweden back in 1986. At that time the company was named Electronic Equipment Trading and we were the first European distributor which was signed up by Kingston Technology. At that time the computers were introduced and during the late eighties and in the beginning of the nineties computers were on the top of the agenda both for corporates and later also for private use.

In the first three years after the establishment of the first entity the Swedish area was expanded through new start ups in Denmark, Norway and later Finland. At that time these entities were owned by different individuals and was actually not a Group as we see today.

In the period from 1986 and until 1997 the four Nordic entities had very strong growth especially from sales of memory products and to a lesser extent also hard drives. In 1997 is was decided to establish a Group and to bring in an external investor which was a UK based private equity fund.

Strategy So what is the strategy going forward? EET Group shall maintain focus on the EMEA markets and strive to be the market leader in each of the markets where we are present and in each of the 8 main business areas where EET Group operates. These 8 main business areas are:

In 1997 the management and the private equity fund agreed on the long term strategy, where it was decided that EET Group should be transformed from a Nordic distributor into a pan-European distributor. Furthermore, it was decided that the dependency on single products and single customers should be reduced.

The strategy has broadly been the same from 1997 and until today and the strategy has only been slightly modified during these years and in most events just and update to current technology changes in the market or changes customer or vendor requirements. So from a small Nordic distributor back in 1997 EET Group has up until today been transformed into a pan-European distributor operating in 27 markets, serving more than 43,000 annual buying customers and carrying more than 750 brands. This has been achieved through a strong organic growth combined with a very successful acquisitions strategy which has delivered 34 acquisitions during the period 1998 until 2016.

So what is a market leader? In our view a market leader is a distributor who are bringing long term and sustainable value for both customers and vendors and with a high focus on a high service level with a fair pricing on the products. We will maintain our focus on providing the long term value for both our customers and vendors, because we simply know that this is the reason why we have experienced such a strong growth historical with happy customers and vendors.

EET Group is the backbone of the organisation. EET Group operates in the EMEA market through the company names EET Europarts, EET Security, Podspeakers, Clint Digital and EET Logistics. EET Group is based in Copenhagen, Denmark, and hosts all back office functions, including corporate management, finance, marketing, IT operations, WEB & ERP development, product management, purchasing and logistics. EET Group supports all divisions and all 27 countries.

EET Europarts EET Europarts distributes server, computer and printer parts, home entertainment products and lifestyle electronics, mobile parts and accessories, professional AV and digital signage, point-of-sale and auto-ID, smart home solutions and surveillance and security products from numerous A-brand suppliers to more than 43,000 customers in EMEA. Additionally, EET Europarts provides a “hard-to-find-product”service that is highly appreciated by many customers who need spare parts for elderly computers, printers and other equipment.

EET Security The business unit EET Security focuses on high-end high quality surveillance and security products from companies such as Axis, Sony, Avigilon, Hikvision, Bosch, Ernitec, Milestone, and Canon, as well as providing consultancy services in relation to strategy and choice of solutions. With today´s video surveillance solutions, EET Security offers sophisticated video analytic tools to further improve customers’ return on investment and provide numerous business advantages plus optimization with advanced software applications.

COMPANY FINANCIALS Fiscal year 2016 in short

EET Europarts has during the last 15 years shown impressive strong growth on the top-line both also in the operating profit.

In the period from 2001 until 2015 we achieved 14 consecutive years with growth in our operating profit. In 2016 we had a year with a lot of investments especially in advanced robot technologies in our warehouse but also in new market leading ecommerce and marketing tools. Still we managed to deliver a very strong operating profit, actually the second best result ever.

EET Europarts has grown both organically and via corporate acquisitions throughout Europe and Africa. The group is constantly monitoring the market, pursuing its growth strategy. It plans to acquire additional companies in the years to come. A significant growth rate is expected for fiscal year 2017 and 2018 due to new acquisitions and additional market penetration into new countries and product areas. Both elements will be major contributors to overall expected growth of 10-15% in 2017 and onwards.

OUR CAPACITY EET Group Logistics Centre

EET Group Logistics Centre is situated in Copenhagen, Denmark. The 15,000 m2 large building has been designed from the ground up and hosts all warehouse facilities, product management, purchasing, service and production teams and with a throughput of 6,300 order lines on a daily basis. Furthermore systems like time stamped video surveillance, semi-automated picking, packaging and sorting systems are used keeping mistakes and failures to an absolute minimum. EET Europarts services customers with drop shipment or blind shipments in the current 27 countries throughout Europe and Africa. Assembly, reconfiguration and production area has also been established. Some vendors are using the EET Europarts warehouse in Denmark as their European logistics and warehouse hub, due to the highly efficient logistics services and infrastructure, that ensure day-today shipments all over Europe.

AutoStore

AutoStore is simply an aluminum Grid that provides the storage space for the goods. The size and form of the Grid only depend on the warehouse around it and ensure optimal space usage. The goods are stored in thousands of plastic Bins inside the Grid. 32 Robots move tirelessly on rails on top of the Grid hoisting up Bins, moving them for further processing and then placing them back into the Grid.

AutoStore is a revolutionary scalable warehouse system for effective storage and handling of small goods.

When goods from the bottom of the Grid are requested the Robots will work together to dig their way to the target Bin. To speed up future requests the Robots continuously optimize the storage position of goods inside the Grid, placing often requested Bins on the higher levels.


SOLUTIONS & SERVICES International Logistics Centre Our state-of-the-art logistics centre, located in Copenhagen, Denmark, has more than 32,000 different part numbers in stock and more than 850,000 different products available through our website. The logistics centre handles more than 1 milion deliveries annually to more than 43,0–00 EMEA customers.

Award-winning Product Guide

The award-winning Product Guide has been developed by EET Europarts. It contains more than 4.8 million product relations and more than 132,000 different models and systems from the most popular manufacturers. The Product Guide is installed on more than 700 websites.

Websites EET Europarts has invested many resources in in-house development of localised websites. The websites offer many state-of-the-art features including Search-As-You-Type, Category Overview Section, Product Guide and Product Category Filtering.

Optimal interfacing To make our business relationships as smooth and easy as possible, we offer various electronic interfaces such as EDI, XML, OIO XML and OIO UBL. Most orders, price and availability enquiries, dispatch information and invoices are handled automatically.

Specialised teams

In order to ensure that customers have the best experience partnering with EET Europarts, strategic product area divisions have been established. Each area consists of sales, product management, and purchase teams that enable the group to provide outstanding product know-how, high product availability, competitive prices, and fast and reliable deliveries.

Tailored price feeds EET Europarts offers customers daily Price Feeds. These files are automatically transmitted on an as-required basis ensuring that customers always have the latest pricing, stock level and product information. Price Files are either uploaded to customer ftp servers or send as regular email.

Marketing activities In cooperation with suppliers, the marketing team develops a large variety of marketing activities including Web Content, Newsletters, Channelized Magazines, Reseller Guides, Product Leaflets, Product Catalogues, Seminars and Fairs.

Localised sales offices EET Europarts is currently the largest parts distributor in the EMEA region. It is present throughout the EMEA region with 34 sales offices in 27 countries.

As a strategic and specialised business support tool, EET Europarts has developed an award-winning multi-platform and web-based Product Guide. The Product Guide has become the most commonly used configurator or product localizer tool among European resellers. The Product Guide can be used when searching for all types of systems, accessories or parts such as computer accessories, computers, monitors, printers and projectors. In August of 2011 we introduced the EET Academy. The academy is responsible for the training of sales trainees who will be employed at local offices across EMEA.
