Call for Participants - 2015 T4ET Belgium European Youth Parliament Sweden is now thrilled to launch the call for Swedish participants to represent our National Committee at the 2015 Trainings for EYP Trainers (T4ET) which will be held in Nieuwpoort, Belgium from 31st July to the 7th August. The Training will gather 30 Trainees and 4 Trainers from all over Europe. Trainings for EYP Trainers (T4ETs) aim to further develop the training skills of EYP alumni interested in, and willing to contribute to the training scene of the EYP. Training courses contribute to the development of our alumni and ultimately assist the enhancement of their educational experience, and increase the quality of events. The course will take place in Nieuwpoort, at the Belgian seaside (1,5h ride from Brussels). The event is hosted by EYP-Europolis Belgium and organised by Janne Vanhemmens, with the support of the Training and Alumni Development Council and the EYP International Office. The training will last 8 days and aim to enable participants from all over Europe to competently and confidently plan, run and evaluate a high quality training course. Participants will: (i) Gain profound understanding on how groups work; (ii) Learn advanced group leading techniques (chairing/facilitation); (iii) Practice strategic use of teambuilding exercises; (iv) Explore how to enable personal growth in one’s team; (v) Creatively approach new and existing methods; (vi) Practice their leadership, training and chairing competences through self-reflection and feedback from experienced co-participants and trainers. Participation fee: There is no participation fee, and participants will receive travel reimbursement based on the distance calculator used in Erasmus+ applications. We are now looking for members to represent Sweden at this training. These members should preferably have contributed to the development of the organisation on a national and/or international level, and have a passion for developing others through training. If you are interested in taking part, contact hugo.durr@eup.se with a Letter of Application, totalling no more than 600 words, outlining your motivation to attend any of the Training, your previous work in EYP Sweden and/or your plans to further make use of your experiences within the organisation. The letter can be written in either Swedish or English. Deadline to submit your application is 23:59, Monday 18th May, 2015.
