Dear EYPers, I am pleased to announce the call for editors, chairpersons and VPs for the 11th National Session of EYP Sweden. The session will take place between the 13th and 16th of March in the lovely town of Umea. Officials are asked to arrive one day prior to the session, on the 12th of March. Please note that there are no participation fees for officials and EYP Sweden will offer partial travel reimbursement. Organised with grace and style by Emil Juslin, the session will bring bring together a new generation of EYP Sweden. Quite fittingly, the theme of the session will be ”Sustaining Our Future”; aimed at challenging the obstacles facing our generation in creating and maintaining a sustainable world. Moreover, the session will be an eco-session, adopting an environment concious approach to both organisational and academic aspects of the session. The session will be a perfect opportunity for EYPers who are seeking an opportunity to participate in a session where the official team will work together to attain high academic standards for all participants. A chance to be an official at such a well-supported and established national session will allow all of the participants to feel comfortable in further developing their style and approach in EYP. We are now looking for a team of Editors, Chairs and VPs to help share their experience and create a vibrant and productive environment for all of the participants. Speaking on behalf of the HO and the rest of the organisers team, we are looking forward to all of your applications and we hope to see you in March!

Session Vision, “Sustaining our future� aims to raise awareness of the common challenges our generation faces in creating a sustainable future. What can the world, the European Union and the European youth do to tackle problems like the global warming? While tackling these issues, the participants will also work together creating the future of Europe, a sustainable world and thus set common goals for our generation to build upon, and shape a world we can, and want to, live in. The 11th National Session of EYP Sweden aims to make Sweden youths reflect over their future, their problems and how they can affect and change their challenging situation together. Moreover, the 11th National Session of EYP Sweden also is the 1st Eco-session of EYP. The 1st Eco-session will focus on creating an environmental friendly session with a focus on how small changes can make big differences. The Eco-session will include workshops for all participants, knowledge sharing prior, during and after the session through social media and an environmental focus on the session material and logistics.

How to apply? The National Session will host a international team of officals. You can apply as Vice President, Chairperson and/or Editor. We are looking for 2 VPs, 14 Chairs and 1-2 Editors. Each applicant will be informed of the outcome of the selection as soon as possible after the deadline. For the National Session we are looking for a balanced team with regards to experience and gender. Below you can find the composition that we aim at. Changes to the compositions may occur.
