Brief overview of Global-In Fellowship The program is composed of three unique weeks, all with different topics cov- ered. After a cultural program on the arrival weekend, the workshop-week be- gins. Four workshops will be held based on the following topics;; politics, eco- nomics, media and law, as well as the rhetoric. The evening program of the first week will train the participants’ rhetorical skills. In the second week, a Model United Nations (MUN) conference will be held. The participants will assume the roles of representatives of UN member states. In the Security Council and the Human Rights Council, they will draft solutions for actual, real-world problems. The second weekend is themed “National Socialism” and shall educate the participants about the Third Reich and the Holocaust. The third week is a creation of the Global-In Fellowship: A post-world war sim- ulation in which only a few states remain intact. The political structures and the infrastructure have been completely wiped out and it is now up to remaining survivors to create a new framework of world order. The participants take on roles as survivors with varying roles and characteristics. Their goal is to rebuild the political systems in their countries and an intergovernmental organization. But: how and with what system? It is simply up to the participants’ imagination! With this structure, we endeavor to combine theoretical workshops to amelio- rate the participants’ knowledge with practical trainings and simulations.
Program coverage The program will cover all travel expenses to and from the location. In addition to this, housing and food will be covered. Any expenses outside of the program’s planned activities that the participant chooses in his or her free-time is not cov- ered.
