Hospital CIMA San José is located in San José, Costa Rica anda has medical and surgical patient units, an intensive care unit, and a neonatal intensive care unit. In 1999, the President of Costa Rica, Dr. Miguel Ángel Rodriguez, inagurated Hospital CIMA San José before it began operations at the end of the first quarter of 2000. This three-story hospital was constructed with two mail levels. The first level includes a large outpatient medical department with a variety of advanced diagnostic and treatment services an modalities, including chemotherapy and hemodialysis; a radiology department with multiple current modalities anda space for future expansion; an emergency department complete with traume room, treatment stations, private exam and consultation rooms; and a fully equipped modern surgery department an recovery facility.
The patient rooms and Labor and Delivery Department are located on the second level. Most patien rooms are private and seven have adjoining suites. The Labor an Delivery Department is the most modern in Central America, provides full fetal and maternity monitoring services an is supported by neonatal and intensive care unit, in addition to the well baby nursery. Adjacent to the hospital is a seven-story medical office building. The ground level of this buildong houses the hospital´s physician therapy facilities, a plastic surgery practice, a spa ande several retail services. The remaining six levels house private physician offices. Its exterior design uses tradicional constructions materials, colors, and elements reflective of Spanish-colonial architecture, with blend of hight tecnology details. CIMA San Jose´s construction coveys sense of tradition, trust an stability, while also showcasing the higt level of medical technology used throughout the entire complex.
CIMA Guanacaste, Costa Rica
Hospital CIMA Guanacaste is located in the northwestern region of Costa Rica, 6.5 miles from Liberia International Airport. The hospital was inagurated July 2012 and serves 270.l00 permanet area residents and some 500.000 tourists who visit Guanacaste each year.
