NEW URBAN METABOLISM - DATA URBANISM Cities are no longer a collection of passive in frastructures, but active and complex environment able to produce realtime feedback on our activities, to communicate, to converse with, to generate innovation.New urban metabolism will be based on capacity of the city interact, to give and receive information among interconnected nodes of different scales and natures (infrastructure, buildings, public space elements, environmental conditions, flows). The system organization will be based on real time data and responsive systems, and metabolic organizations. on the other hand, infrastructure based : consisting of a central brain fed by the sensor nervous system. Sensors that are able to collect and measure data and then process them though algorithmic rules to transform them into information and define actions based on efficiency. Flexible public spaces, open data platforms will stimulate people sync with environment. these interaction between human and built environment will be the base of parameters/ facts of occupying space.

New dynamic and informational condition of the city is no longer built based simply on formal criteria, but is defined dynamically, continuously, relationally, by the interactive combining of different layers of information (topographic, environment, cultural, social) And it will be characterized by infrastructure and its network, exchanges(transport, energy, communication, demographic, financial movement) New Urban Grid / New Territory Grid

ADMINISTRATION BUILDING - EAGLEBROOK SCHOOL "A building advances through tentative answers to a series of more and more subtle questions which reach deeper and deeper into the essence of appropriate experience within constructed form." Making a building, or any work of art, is a “truthward process, a corrective development as each new perception challenged previous conclusions rendering them temporary, as they transform, adjust, and answer the new demands the progress and the evolution of our knowledge adapts. Each element in the design and construction of a building, walls, bearing and non-bearing, natural light sources, roofs, sloped and flat, structure, context and topography and a site with many diverse contectual demands, are all deconstructed, analyzed, and when their inter-relationship is understood, reconstructed. All of this is in service of the creation of an appropriate experience I defined.

BUSINESS&ECONOMICS BLDG - SUNY PLATTSBURPH The art in architecture is transcending mere accommodation to motivate and inspire the user and enrich the architectural quality of the community. In order to do this one must become skillful in crafting a solution which optimizes the possibilities. The circulation systems, how one moves through and experiences a building is a key element. How one goes from the circulation space into a usable space, the threshold, is an important moment. The volumetric differences of spaces that satisfy specific needs, views, natural light, materiality, sub details all contribute to creating a building which transcends accommodation. The compositional massing of elements to reinforce organizational concepts and contextual considerations is the sculptural aspect of architecture. The compositional aspects of the faรงade, cladding, glazing, detail, are the painterly aspects. As with great music, architecture involves an underlying order, a scale, a grid, allowing for endless variations which are inherently connected.

INT’L MUSIC CENTER - UNION SQ. NY L-system : for centuries architects have been inspired by nature’s forms and geometries. Their designs have been influenced by her structures, by her proportions, colors, patterns, and textures. Architects have incorporated these influences in what has been primarily an empirical process. It is only in the past decades that much of the underlying logic, mathematics and chemistry of nature’s forms has been better understood. in the late 1960’s, the biologist Aristid Lindenmayer Proposed a string-rewriting algorithm which can model simplified plants and their growth processes with an astounding ease. This theory is now known as L-system.
