Leading producer of Church based video curriculum and campaigns
After serving on the staff at Saddleback Church with Rick Warren, and helping on over a dozen of his previous DVD series 10 years ago, Saddleback asked us to come back and produce the new DVD and print curriculum for his blockbuster book The Daniel Plan: 40 Days to a Healthier Life.
After 15 years from serving on the staff at Willow Creek Bill Hybels invited me back to help produce their first DVD curriculum & campaign called Wiser Together that connected over 12,000 people. It was followed up this year with his second campaign curriculum titled Praying Together where they connected over 20,000 people last fall.
Dr. Tony Evans is a household name in the Evangelical world. With both the success of Oak Cliff Bible Fellowship and The Urban Alternative, however, Dr. Evans is not ready to rest on his laurels. Partnering with Lifetogether, Dr. Evans created DVD-based curriculum for his book, Destiny, and launched 500 new groups at OCBF. After preaching a message on community on Labor Day weekend, Dr. Evans saw 260 people sign up to start a group.
Max Lucado and Randy Frazee are well known pastors and best selling authors, yet only a few years ago they hosted their first sermon based DVD aligned series titled Make Room for Summer where they connected 1000’s into groups.

I See A Church Seacoast Church
Greg Surratt invited Lifetogether back to Seacoast Church for a second series called I See a Church, created to cast vision for their next 25 years as a church. Shot at the Citadel, this spectacular production included teaching sessions, testimonies, daily video devotionals, and timeless training sessions. Right around 93% of their 12,000 adults gathered in groups for this study.

No Place Like Home Christ Tabernancle
Shot on the streets of New York City, this project featuring Pastors Michael and Maria Durso and their staff pastors, captured not only the hustle and bustle of New York, but also created an amazing location to tell their personal stories. In one poignant session, Maria Durso sat in a park near where she grew up and shared very personally about being far from God and finding a Savior with no idea of the ministry impact her changed life would make on Michael and Queens, New York.

The Seven Rules of Success Wayne Cordeiro leads New Hope Oahu, not only the largest church in Hawaii, but one of the largest churches in America. Wayne wanted to create a small group curriculum based on his recently released book, The Seven Rules of Success, as well as connect his entire congregation into groups and sustain them even beyond the 7-week series.

New Hope Oahu already had a strong production crew, so they didn’t need the work done for them. But they knew that while they could expertly produce a weekend service, producing a video-based curriculum was new to them. New Hope partnered with Lifetogether to coach their production team, direct their video shoot on-site, and coach their small group team to launch and sustain their groups.
The Seven Rules Of Success New Hope O’ahu
Pastor Wayne Cordeiro leads New Hope Oahu, which is certainly the largest church in Hawaii as well as one of the largest churches in America. Wayne came to Lifetogether with two objectives in mind. He wanted to create a small group curriculum based on his recently released book, The Seven Rules of Success, and he wanted to connect his congregation into groups for the series and beyond.
New Hope Oahu already had a strong production crew, so they didn’t need the work done for them, but they knew that while the expertly produced weekend services, video-based group curriculum was a new genre for them. NHO partnered with Lifetogether to coach their production team, to provide on-site direction for their video shoot, and to coach their small group team in launching new groups and sustaining those groups past the seven week series. The Lifetogether team rolled up our sleeves to help them masterfully produce the curriculum for the book.
Lifetogether provided guidance through the pre-production process from what equipment to have on hand to determining what elements to shoot and which on-camera personnel to use to help with turning a tradebook into a teaching script for the teleprompter. While this was new for the NHO team, this was not new to Lifetogether. Prior to this project, Lifetogether worked with a variety of pastors to create small group curriculum based on a tradebook including Rick Warren’s The Daniel Plan, Chris Hodges’ Fresh Air, Wilfredo (Choco) de Jesus’ Amazing Faith and In the Gap titles, and Pastor Kerri Weems’ Rhythms of Grace. By repurposing great content, these pastors developed additional tools to help their congregations and many others to apply the principles to their lives in a group.

Rhythms of Grace Lifetogether suggested a new and unique format for Kerri Weems of Celebration Church to display her distinctive voice. Producing the project in a “Town Hall Meeting” format highlighted Kerri’s warm and winsome delivery in a living room setting filled with their senior staff. She was thrilled to jump right in, beginning each session directly to camera then turning to engage the audience in a live, interactive discussion. This format has become very popular since we first experimented with it for Dr. Tony Evans in Dallas, Texas, which turned out to be a big hit. Michael Fletcher with Manna Church and Steve Poe with Northview Church have also recently used this format, each providing a framework for how we can continue to do this with churches of all sizes. Hand Me Downs Hand Me Downs, a church-wide campaign series, was produced by Lifetogether for Jim and Jennifer Cowart of Harvest Church, one of the most innovative and fastest-growing United Methodist churches in the country. The series is designed to help connect the entire congregation into small groups and transform not only how they strategize and implement groups, but how they will be doing church in the future. Lifetogether undertook its most ambitious project this year in helping to direct and produce over 700 of the leading voices in the Assemblies of God worldwide fellowship of churches at their national conference in Orlando, Florida. After 7 full days and a dozen mobile studios we are producing, writing & laying out 40 different DVD teaching series including a twelve volume first ever Leader Training Series, global campaign & spirit-empowered edition of the Christian life. For the first time we are developing English, Spanish, Women’s & Youth DVD Editions. This project could reform how denominations partner & publish custom campaigns and approved curriculum.
