MASON JAR STRING LIGHTS 1. Punch a hole in the top of the jar lids using a hammer and a screwdriver.
Continue until the hole is about the size of a penny. 2. Unscrew the lids, keeping the rings and seals together. Turn the lid upside down
and hammer until it’s flat. (not pictured) 3. Stretch out the string of lights. The icicles alternate long, short, long, short. The
long piece will insert into the jar and the short piece will hang between jars. Thread the long strand through the hole in the lid, insert into jar. 4. Firmly secure the strand in place to the underside of the lid using electrical tape. 5. Screw on the jar lid. Repeat until the entire string of lights has been used and all
the jars are filled. MATERIALS

wood stick or old brush for glue application plastic gloves bowl or round object to define center opening
1.
Place the round object in center of
workspace. Arrange the couplings around it to create the wreath shape. Make sure the couplings touch each other and there are no gaps filling the spaces with smaller pieces.
1.
2.
2.
Dispense quick-set epoxy and mix the
substances together. Begin applying epoxy to the couplings one at a time. Apply a strip of epoxy along the side of one coupling and attach it to the coupling it touches making sure the two pieces are glued together. Repeat this process until all couplings have been glued securely. Make sure the round object in the center maintains the circular shape of the wreath while gluing the pieces together. Let dry completely (2-3 hours). 3.
Once the epoxy has set, check to see if any
areas need to be reinforced and add more epoxy in those areas. Allow any additional glued areas to dry completely. TIP:
The larger the wreath, the
heavier it will be so it is important that all the pieces are secure. 4.
Place the wreath in a well-ventilated area
and spray paint white. Spray several light coats making sure all surfaces are covered. Let dry. 5.
Once the white spray paint is dry, seal the
wreath using the Clear Acrylic Sealer to protect it from outdoor elements. If desired, glue colorful holiday balls to the inside of some of the openings and add a pretty holiday bow.

3. 1. Cut three pieces of string about 24” long each. Tie
all 3 pieces together by tying a knot about 2” from one end. Tape down to work surface above the knot. Braid the string until you have about 2” of braid. 2. Add the first hex nut to the string on the left and
hold tight to keep in place. 4.
3. Braid once and add another hex nut on the string
now to the right. 4. Repeat this process, alternating left and right,
until all 18 hex nuts have been braided in. 5. Braid 2 more inches and tie a knot.

BASE
3. 1.
3.
Cut (8-10) 8” strips of duct tape. Take one strip and lay flat on surface,
sticky-side up. Take another piece and place it sticky-side down, covering half of the first piece lengthwise. Half of this piece will now be sticking to your working surface. 2. Fold the sticky part of the first piece over the second. 3 . Flip the strips over and place a third strip sticky-side down to cover the remaining sticky part of the second strip.
4-6.
Continue this
‘flip-n-fold’ method until you have a flat non-sticky rectangle

8.
Cut (2) 3.5 pieces of duct tape.
9-10.
Tape the two shorter sides
closed to create a large pocket. Your crease should run in the same direction as the lines of tape. 11.
This pocket is where you will
place your bills. 11.
12.
Fold your wallet in half. Run your
fingers or a blunt edge over the crease to make it more defined.
TIP:
Press this piece under
a heavy book to help the wallet base hold its shape.
CARD HOLDERS

Take one piece and lay it flat, sticky side up. Take another piece and cover all except for about 1/4 lengthwise of the sticky-side-up piece. Fold one of these 14.
sticky sides over to create a small border. Leave the remaining sticky side (this will be used to attach to the wallet). Repeat this with the remaining pieces of tape. These pieces will
15-16. 14.
serve as card holders.
Using a card as a guide, lay it as far down from the top as you
would like (make sure the card can be grabbed easily and is not too close to the top edge). 15.
Take one of your card holder pieces and tape it in place with border
at top. Repeat this 2 more times, using the card as a guide for how much space you would like in between each slot. 16.
Once you have card holders in place, cut a piece of duct tape that
fits the length of your card slots. Tear it into fourths, and use to secure the left and right sides of your card holders.

PURSE BASE
DUCT TAPE PURSE 1. Cut
a piece fabric to 45” x 26”
and fold in half. Lay flat on hard surface. Tape all four corners down to hold in place. 2A.
Starting at one corner, begin
cutting and placing strips of duct tape to fabric. Leave about an inch

excess on each edge to ensure the tape covers the fabric entirely. 2B.
You can create a pattern by
utilizing multiple colors of duct tape, along with varying the widths of the strips. Just remember to be

consistent to create a seamless pattern. 3 . Repeat until the entire fabric is covered in duct tape.
3.
Remove from surface, turn over and lay fabric-side up. Use scissors to trim off excess tape on all sides, using the fabric rectangle as your guide. Your trimmed duct tape rectangle should measure 22.5”x13”. 4.
5- 6 .
TOP BORDER
4.
5.
Cut (2) 15” pieces of tape. With duct tape rectangle laying fabric side up, shorter end facing you, place a strip sticky-side up, centered (left to right) on the fabric. Fold the end of the rectangle closest to you onto the tape covering 3/4 of the strip length-wise. Fold remaining sticky side of duct tape over 7. onto outside of purse creating a border. Trim excess tape from left and right so it is flush with sides. Repeat on opposite end. 7.

Cut (5-6) 9.5”strips of tape. Take one strip and lay flat on surface,
sticky-side up. Take another piece and place it sticky-side down, covering half of the first piece lengthwise. Half of this piece will now be sticking to your working surface. 10. Cover the remaining sticky side with another strip. Remove from surface and flip over. Cover the other sticky sides in the same way. Do this until the non-sticky piece measures 3.5”. When finished there should be two edges that are still sticky. These will be used to attach the sides to your base. Repeat this step to make the other side. 11.
Now we are ready to attach the sides to the base. Beginning at one of

sides ( E ) . Repeat for other side. You now have the base and two flaps. Cut (3-4) 15.5” pieces of tape. Use these pieces to cover the space in between the two creases by centering so there is excess tape ( F ) remaining on both sides. 12.
Next, fold excess tape on base non-sticky side in. Then, fold the side panels in half length-wise. Remaining sticky parts on all pieces should now be facing up. These pieces will attach to the opposite interior-side (A) to form the base of your purse. 13.
14. Fold the opposite side of fabric up
and over so top borders are touching and lined up. Secure in place with the remaining sticky parts from the side panels. 15. Use the excess tape on the bottom piece to attach the interior of the side panels to the bottom. 16. ‘Square out’ the bottom and side pieces by making sure all edges are lined up. 17. Cut (2) 3.5” pieces. Line these up with the rest of the border on the top edge of the purse exterior, folding the remaining sticky part into the interior of the purse. 18. Cut (1) 9.5”piece and cut in half length-wise. Place along seams where the base meets sides on the exterior of the purse. Pinch along seams to define edges. Do the same for the bottom base with (1) 3.5” piece cut in half length-wise. Repeat for other side.
