How to create a blog using WordPress? The first thing you should know about creating a blog is that it doesn’t have to be complicated. Statistics reveal that people are starting blogs more and more every day. It appears that just about every person or business has a blog these days. But if you’re like most people, you may not know how or where to start. Starting a blog can be intimidating at first. A great thing about Wordpress is that Wordpress is free; you can customize your site design, and most importantly make money from your site without any restrictions. Here are some tips ot help get you started, The Set Up: First choose a domain for your blog. A domain name is what people type in as a URL to get to your website. It’s the website’s address on the internet, an example of that would be, “www.yourblog.com” or “www.Skiblog.com” Pick a design and layout: This is the visual appearance of your WordPress blog. This is the beginning stage of creating your first blog. Customizing the look and feel of your blog is what makes the blog personal to you. There are thousands of pre-made WordPress themes that you can pick from. Some of them are free, while others are not. You can change your theme by going to your WordPress dashboard and clicking on Appearance > Themes. Once you have completed both tasks the next step is to start blogging!!
What To Post On A Blog? The first thing you should know when you’re choosing a topic for your blog is that you should choose one that you are passionate about. This will make the writing process much easier. I wouldn’t recommend picking a subject or topic just because you see others making money for writing about them. Make sure you are knowledgeable about the topic you choose, having a minimal amount of information can result in a short and dull blog that may not capture the readers interest. Be sure that your blog has a main focus. Think about the main points you want to hit. Facebook Twitter Google+ Pinterest Instagram LinkedIn Sharing your blog through social media is a great way to generate more viewers on your page. Granted the results vary depending on your target reader. Some examples would be, If your blog post’s are more geared around professional readers and business you would be better off with sites like, LinkedIn and Google+. If your target reader is more visual it would make more sense to focus exclusively on Instagram, Pinterest and Facebook. Once you start getting traffic from social networks the next phase is to analyze the traffic that come to your site. You have the power to track all the things that is happening inside it. Analytics is the one that tracks all the incoming visitors and all the things that happen inside the website. This is very useful since you will know what need improvement or some tweaking.
