How to make potato chips? Oh, how I LOVE fries. Since I have memory, I have accumulated the bag of chips and I could barely share. Yes, the egocentric! So out of my selfishness, I decided to share my passion for the chips to always have a supply of hand - without having to run to the store every 3 or 4 days! In any case, it is possible to turn you into a snack-aholic with these beliefs homemade fries beyond that are easy to do and you will never want to go back to the bags, store-bought kind again. Trust me, you'll love! Are you the creative type? How about making your chips mixed variety? Make them not only with Russet potatoes, but try to do some of your chips in Finland Peruvian purple potatoes or yellow. Just keep in mind that each type has its own potato moisture content. Therefore, you will need to fry batches up individually. Once finished, you will have a lovely mix of homemade treats not every day, but wonderfully made chips. Making your own potato chips need not be a chore. Enjoy fresh batch frying and share with family and friends. The freshness that makes a big difference and the people you share with, I love the little extra effort. What you need: - 4 large white potatoes - Large container of ice water - 2 liters peanut oil
- Sea salt to taste - Electric fryer First, scrub the potatoes thoroughly. Get all these earthly things out of them until they are as clean as they get. Then with a sharp knife, thinly slice potatoes, or use a vegetable slicer. Arrange the slices on a container of ice water and soak for 1 hour. With electric fryer or fryer, pour oil to a depth of 4 to 5 inches, making sure that the oil does not reach the sides of the pot more than half. Heat the oil until the temperature registers 375 to 400 degrees F. Use a thermometer to gauge the temperature fryer. Drain the slices and pat dry with paper towels. Fry the slices in small amounts until golden. Turn frequently with a slotted spoon. Then transfer his chips to a paper towel to drain. Season your chips with salt or use your favorite seasoned salt as Dash or Spike. Seasoned salt gives plain old fries a facelift. But that easy! A little seasoned salt goes a long way. You can avail these beautiful hot chips (totally my favorite way) or cold. Or, simply store in an airtight container. Without doubt, make sure you have at hand than you think you'll need, as these delicious fries disappear faster than you can say, "Potato Chip Heaven!"
