Ethiopia is one of the oldest Christian nations in the world. Since Philip first led the Ethiopian to Christ in the first century A.D. (Acts 8:26–36), nearly all of northern Africa has fallen to Middle Eastern religions. URGENT REQUEST!

Today, Ethiopia is the only region in northern Africa (only 1 of 14 countries) that has survived as a Christian nation. For now. Middle Eastern religions are prevalent in Ethiopia — and are a close second to Christianity. They’re fast-growing and they’re gaining popularity — and converts.
The need for truth-filled books and resources in Ethiopia is more urgent than ever! Right now, we have ministry staff on the ground in Ethiopia, poised and ready to minister to students on university campuses there.
Pray without ceasing
As I launch my 53rd year of ministry, the doors that God is opening for continued ministry around the world are inspiring. While this is exciting, the breadth and scope of the need is overwhelming. One need in particular that makes my heart heavy is from Ethiopia. This sole remaining Christian country in all of northern Africa has been asking for Christian resources for three years. It breaks my heart that we haven’t yet been able to meet this need. But that hasn’t stopped these faithful servants from praying. 1 Thessalonians 5:17 reminds us to pray without ceasing. And our Ethiopian brothers and sisters have taken this to heart!

College students are at such an impressionable age. If we don’t speak truth into their searching minds, who will?
