MBTA Warehouse Fall 2012 Collaboration Studio
Project Site: Boston, MA
Summary This was a group project that included students from Landscape Architecture, Interior Design and Architecture. The site was an old power plant in the City of Boston located in the South End. Our goal was to create a walkable community and add more open space that was lacking in the area. We created a design that was very modern while at the same time incorporating elements from the past.

Downtown San Antonio
Spring 2013
Senior Project Studio
Project Site: San Antonio, TX
Skills: Photoshop, Illustrator and Sketch Up
Summary The focus of the project was to redevelop an area of San Antonio that has been neglected for years. The area of interest is located Southwest of the intersection of I-35 and I-37. We came up with a plan that encouraged more use of alternative forms of transportation and less use of cars. We narrowed a few of the roads, created more green space and expanded on the art community adjacent to the site. We focused on making a place to live, work, and play in.
Santa Chiara Study Center Fall 2011
Study Abroad
Project Site: Castiglion Fiorentino, Tuscany, Italy
Medium: Pen on Vellum
Summary While in Italy we had two major projects to complete while we were there. The first was to draw out the construction details of the famous places we visited on our travels. The second was to redesign the Piazza Girabaldi in city we called home for three months, Castiglion Fiorentino. The below plan shows a normal day for proposed piazza while the plan on the right shows how the space functions during the weekly markets. The space needed to be quite open to incorporate the variety of needs of the town.
JJAEP Outdoor Classroom Fall 2010 Design Studio
Project Site: Lubbock, TX
Medium: (below) marker and pen (right) sketch up
Summary JJAEP is a special school for students that have had many problems with their conduct within school. They are taken out of regular school and placed here at JJAEP. Our project was to work with a few of the students to come up a design for an unused courtyard at the campus. We had many interesting ideas from the students and we came up with the below design. It was a great experience for us and the students at JJAEP.
