- LIMITED EDITION M-65 50TH ANNIVERSARY COLLECTION
In late 1965, Alpha Industries was awarded its first contract by the U.S. military to manufacture the newly designed M-65 Field Coat. Alpha quickly became one of the top M-65 producers for the Department of Defense. The coats were issued to most Army, Marine Corps and Air Force service personnel. A rugged nylon/cotton (NYCO) sateen shell, heavyduty brass zipper and distinctive Olive Green color would quickly define this iconic coat for many decades to come.
Inspired by the classic lines and rugged character of the original M-65 Field Coat, this special Alpha collection was born. A modern-fit version of the field coat and liner provide the cornerstone attractions for the capsule collection. In addition, a tropical rucksack, infantry field watch and combat boots all pay homage to their original roots earned during 1960’s jungle combat operations. The overall collection honors our extensive history with these iconic pieces of military apparel and the men who served while wearing them.
