Community Tuscaloosa Garden Club landscapes Habitat for Humanity Home By Mia Martin The Tuscaloosa Garden Club did the landscaping for a new Habitat for Humanity home on Juanita Drive on August 12. The Garden Club applied for, and received, a grant from The Garden Club of Alabama to assist with the project. Golden Rain tree were planted for shade and beauty. A gardenia was planted for its wonderful smell and beautiful white blooms. Azaleas, junipers, dwarf blue rush, iris, a daylily, and an Oregon blooming Echinacea was added to front of the bed. project. A trailer load of mulch and manure was used with all the plantings with landscape fabric. Many Tuscaloosa Garden Club members and a member’s son, Mike Gray, worked tirelessly on the project. The group was joined by volunteers from all over the country. Dan Grossett of Colorado lent his assistance to the project, part of the Tuscaloosa tornado recovery. Kevin and Julie Coughlin, a young couple from Missouri who’d volunteered to work with Habitat for Humanity for a week, helped non-stop. Wanda and Lucile Green, previous Habitat home recipients in Holt, also joined in the effort. Peter Salemme, the project manager for Habitat for Humanity, helped install brackets for hanging plants, and he provided donuts for everyone. Ellen Potts, the executive director of Habitat for Humanity, was so appreciative of our time and work. Jennifer Miles, a young veteran, is the new homeowner. She expressed great emotion and thankfulness that she’d been given this opportunity to own a home of her own. Miles said she loved the landscaping.

***The Tuscaloosa Garden Club, established in 1932, meets on the second Thursday of each month from September through May. Anyone interested in joining The Tuscaloosa Garden Club should call Mia Martin, president of the Tuscaloosa Garden Club, at (205) 507-0392.

Give Me Just 120 Days, and You’ll Earn the Best Body You’ve Ever Had ... Just Like Chuck, Luan, Kevin and Thousands of Others Have ... Guaranteed ... or I’ll Refund 100% of Your Investment! My name is Clint Bryan and I have something urgent to share with you. This secret literally has the power to change your life forever. In fact, it’s the key to getting you in the best shape of your life. My goal is to help people look and feel better than they ever have before. And Iron Tribe Fitness is by far the most effective system for helping people do just that. Just take a look at the picture above...those results are typical! In those pictures, you’ll see just a few of the shocking transformations from our members of Iron Tribe in Birmingham, AL. Take, for example, Chuck Andrews who transformed his body from Pillsbury Dough Boy to Tarzan in only a few short months. Chuck is not alone. It’s because of these kinds of results that Iron Tribe -- which started as hobby with 12 friends in a 400 square foot garage -- has exploded into a national franchise. However, if you want these kind of results, you need to act right now before this opportunity passes by. Why the urgency? Because Iron Tribe Fitness only accepts 300 members per location. Not 301. This cap on our membership develops a tight and exclusive community of friends. Indeed, a Tribe. We pride ourselves on being much more than a gym. We are a Tribe of athletes.

Clint Bryan Manager

To show you I'm serious, here's an offer you simply can't refuse: If you’ll give me just 120 days, you’ll get in the best shape of your life, or I’ll refund 100% of your investment. But just like all other Iron Tribe locations ... these 300 membership slots will sell out! Don't get put on a waiting list. ACT NOW!
