aking a test or an exam it might be kind of boring and worring at the same time and even if you haven’t received any classes or instructions about it. That is one of many worries of the students here at CCGK, and they are desesperated and worried in taking the TOEIC bridge exam; maybe they think they will fail or if they pass it, they will pass it with a lower score, but this complaint is because the students haven’t received the “guide”, from the teachers because they know how hard, difficult and stressing is the exam. But this “absence of the teachers”, is not their fault, why not? , that is because they have had some business to attend, for example one of those business is the interviews to the new children, who are going to be part of the program next year. In addition, the teachers have gone to different departments of El Salvador for these essential interviews. Therefore all of the students have lost many classes because of the reason before mentioned.

Although this is not reason for losing and wasting the time; in the other hand the students should have the initiative of

preparing themselves (I am not saying that the teachers must not do something for the students, but in this case; the students should do it). However, not everything is a complaint, because there are some virtual TOEIC practices on-line (recommended by the teacher Jose Manuel), in which the students have the option of selecting which part of the test they want to focus in. For exampl e in the listenin g part of the exam, you can focus in the photographs questions, little conversations and uncompleted conversations, and in the reading part you can work with uncompleted tenses, questions about something to read, and more. This preparing option is a tool that the students should consider. Recently some of the students are taking these practices seriously and not as a joke, and that is the correct attitude.

FINALLY , the students should ask for help to the teachers and with the same students too. Although they have to consider that, they have taken values classes and in these classes, they have learned how to be independent and how to take a decision, and this exam is a decision. If you are asking, is it really a decision? of course it is, the TOEIC exam is a big decision and trying to avoid it or not study for it, is not the best option.
