VODAFONE MALTA EMPLOYEES PARTICIPATE IN TEAM-BUILDING EVENT Over 200 Vodafone Malta employees participated in a full day of team-building activities at St Joseph’s Home in Santa Venera. Following a morning of discussions and briefings, staff spent the afternoon in a team-building activity that required various teams to build a vehicle from the most basic components. Armed with only cardboard, paint and a set of wheels, each team tried to outdo the other in coming up with the best design and then to present it to the judging panel which then selected the most ingenious and functional design. This was another event in Vodafone’s Malta ongoing schedule of regular team-building activities. “Vodafone believes that we can only give our best as a company if we enable each and every employee to deliver to the best of their ability” said Claire Mifsud, Human Resources Manager. “This means taking time out at regular intervals to keep them fully informed of the company’s activities and also to listen to their views on where we are and where we are going. This sort of group activity also reinforces the team dynamic that is a key feature of how we operate at Vodafone Malta”

Melita Anti timesofmalta.com 7 November 2014 € 228.00

Friday, November 7, 2014, 00:01 by Alfred Mangion, Kappara

Problem is not resolved In his rather lengthy apologetic letter (November 3) regarding the longer-than-usual call waiting times that Melita customers are facing when contacting its call centre, Melita’s director of PR and customer experience referred to my case, saying it was resolved to my satisfaction prior to the publication of my letter on October 23. Either the Melita director is not aware of what is going on around him or else he tried to misguide readers. I categorically deny what he said in his letter because, up to the time of writing, the erroneous charge has not as yet been rectified and I am still out of pocket to the amount that was wrongly charged by Melita. I wish to advise the Melita director that I received a call from Melita’s offices the day my letter appeared and, as I advised the caller that I could not take the call at the time, I was promised a call within 15 minutes. After almost two weeks, I am still waiting.
