Travel With The Joyce

Travel with The Joyce to exotic places throughout the world with companions who share your love of dance. Excursions are led by a Joyce director, and exclusive perks like private meetings with artistic directors, choreographers, and dancers will make your travel experience truly unique. Past trips include Cuba, Russia, France, China, Colombia, Sri Lanka, Thailand, and many more.

Upcoming trips are Lyon, France September 2023 and Thailand January 2024.

Join The Joyce Theater Travel Program as it returns to Lyon in September 2023. Experience the city’s history by visiting one of the oldest renaissance neighborhoods in Europe, savor its famous Lyonnais cuisine, and experience its culture during La Biennale de la Danse, Lyon’s biannual celebration of contemporary dance. More details to follow. If your interests are more toward southern Asia, in January 2024 the Travel Program will journey to Thailand which is known for its tropical beaches, opulent royal palaces, ancient ruins and ornate temples.

The Joyce Theater proudly returns home to host the Joyce Gala, widely known to be a fun and festive highlight of the gala season. The 2023 Gala will honor Joyce Board Chair Virginia A. Millhiser and will pay tribute to the first 30 years (and the next 30) at the helm of The Joyce Theater, Executive Director Linda Shelton. The gala is an integral part of annual fundraising goals that directly support The Joyce's mission to bring a broad spectrum of the art of dance to you!
