Multilingual Exposure at a Young Age The people at the Joy Little School House understand the need for the children to learn other languages as well, especially English which is more or less a global language. About Joy Little Schoolhouse Joy Little Schoolhouse was the first to conceptualise and initiate a Mandarin Immersion Child Care Centre in Singapore. It is based on the Howard Gardner’s Multiple Intelligences and it totally in Chinese. Their method of education and programs gives the child an all-round development. This includes not only maths, science, drama, music and art, but also areas such as life skills and communication, which are very important for children to learn from a young age.
