International Competitors
Investment The US has a number of large and advanced shipyards with adequate Drydock facilities in Florida, Texas, and Carolinas. However, these yards are not direct competitors to CDM: They focus on the US Navy ships, with large budgets and military contracts They are too expensive for foreign commercial vessels They pose logistical and entry visas complications to international vessels.
Future Competitors The global market is concentrated in 3 regions: ASIA, EMEA and CALA. Asia is saturated with local players, EMEA is filled with strong players, and CALA is underserved with local players. Strong players from Europe and Asia are planning to acquire local CALA players
