Creating tomorrow’s citizens today The Educational Technology Support Technician will provide ICT hardware and software support to Simon Balle and other local schools either by onsite visits, telephone support or remote access as appropriate. This includes routine hardware and software maintenance, installation and configuration of new hardware and software as well as hardware repairs. The post holder will be allocated tasks, regular visits, service desk calls or installations by the Director of Education Technology. Initially this job will be predominately onsite visits to our local schools. This is a varied role that incorporates website management, online communication and some design. You will work closely with other members of the team to bring the Simon Balle School brand to life in an engaging and meaningful way. You will also monitor and produce reports on success of content on social media and on the website through analysis tools. We are looking for a skilled technician with good RM network experience. The successful applicant will also have to be a friendly, flexible and professional person to join our team. You will have technical knowledge along with a proactive mind-set.
