For 37 years we have been providing top quality water safety equipment to ensure that everyone can enjoy their time safely on the water.

Our #1 focus, from Day 1, has been safety. Whether it is a life vest to keep you safe whilst wakeboarding, venturing on a PWC, or a wetsuit to protect from the cold weather conditions or UV50+ protection with a hydro tee, we innovate to make life much more fun by providing premium quality water safety equipment for you and your crew that is comfortable, long lasting and keeps you looking good.

With high quality products designed to last, we emphasise long product lifecycle over fast fashion. We use a non-petroleum alternative to neoprene in our wetties, johns and tour coats and are constantly looking for more sustainable options throughout our product range and supply chain.

The only thing better then heading out on the water, with perfect weather is coming home safe at the end of the day.

A non-petroleum based alternative WARMER

MORE FLEXIBLE

MORE DURABLE

A neoprene developed from Limestone (calcium carbonate) rather than petroleum based that has set the standard in neoprene. Used in all Jetpilot neoprene products (long johns, tour coats and wetsuits).

Warmer – Due to nitrogen cells captured in neoprene during Limestone processing treatment providing better thermal insulation and heat retention. Lighter – Micro bubble structure created during processing helps to ensure water doesn’t penetrate or weigh down the neoprene.

More Flexible – Not only is the makeup of Limestone Neoprene more stretchy, it retains its form over time, meaning it won’t stretch out from the original fit, season after season.

More Durable – Less prone to tears due to cell construction in neoprene creation.

what ANCHOR is right for you?

PWCs offer more freedom and manoeuvrability than traditional, full-sized boats. Though this means that you’re not always guaranteed an easy way to anchor your PWC or have the option to beach it.

Beaching your PWC can also harm the hull of the ski over time, potentially cause injury with sudden jarring movement and if in a tidal area, requires monitoring to account for water levels.

So depending where you’re heading, it’s important to have the correct equipment and knowledge for when you take a break on land and are looking to safely drop anchor.

sand anchors

A popular option as they’re functional and convenient as they don’t take up space and are easy to set up. Simply fill with sand or rocks and then remove the contents once you’re ready to set off again. Great for shallow or shore anchoring though are also good for deeper water too. However, this type of anchor doesn’t work well in rough areas like crashing waves or in busy areas that create a lot of wash.

fluke anchors plough anchors

An effective option where staying power is required, especially in muddy, sandy or other soft bottoms. It is ideal for when you’re using in the middle of the water including larger swells and great for when you’re anchoring up for a longer period of time, for example, when fishing. Choose the lightweight option for calmer, sandy beach use or grab the 2.5kg chain fluke anchor for improved where deeper water or rougher water use is required.

The all-rounder anchor that is perfect for sandy or muddy bottoms as they are designed to dig in and ‘bite’ by filling up to help hold them in place. The 2 metre chain helps to ensure the anchor remains wedged rather than floating up. Adjust rope length by using the carabiner to lock off at the looped knot depending on water depth.

A compact option for convenience with less of the sharp edges that could damage your PWC. This type of anchor is a blend of the benefits of an anchor designed for reef or rocky areas but works just as well in soft bottom areas. This is a great option for calm water use and with more lightweight PWCs or kayaks, etc.

HOW MUCH ROPE TO USE?

A common misconception is if your anchor has hit the bottom, you’re all good to tie it off. However, the deeper you are, the more rope you’ll actually need. An easy reference to remember is the 5:1 ratio. This means if you’re in 5 feet of water, you’d want to have 25 feet of rope. Tie the rope to the front hook (bow hook) as shown above. This will help ensure the anchor lays correctly in the water. If you’re in rougher conditions, or strong winds, you might want to give yourself a bit more slack (i.e. up the ratio to 8:1) and you’ll be fine.

CABANA INSTALLATION

FOR

Slide the metal bar through the top holes of the bottom pole and use this as a handle to screw the bottom pole into the sand until secure (make sure the bar is straight up and not angled).

Install the Cabana top pole into the bottom pole by pressing the two buttons while sliding.

Open Cabana top by pushing the runner until it clicks into place (make sure all four poles are opening outward and fabric legs are not wrapped around poles)

1. BE PREPARED

Set yourself up for success, before you get out on the water. Follow our simple check list to ensure that you have everything you will need.

2. BE EDUCATED

Whether it’s your first time out on the water, or you’re a seasoned professional, it never hurts to brush up on your local boating and towing laws. Not only will you avoid being fined out on the water, but you will be keeping everyone safe out too.

Before you head out, ensure that your riders and spotter know their hand signals. We have a handy guide to get you started.

It is the skipper’s responsibility to ensure the safety of everyone on the water.

If it is your first time towing, start slow. The speed of the rider on a whip will be far greater than what your speedometer is saying. You can always speed up if they give you the signal.

When you are done for the day, ensure that you leave your area the same way you found it. We all need to do our part to keep our waterways clean for the next generation.

You will also want to ensure that you give everything a good clean, whether the boat, the PWC, vests and gear especially if you have been in salt water.
