INTRODUCTION In this CLIL Project, we have done the activities corresponding to the science subject of the third course of primary education. These activities are from the unit The Five Senses. In order to do so, we have taken into account which are the content aspects of the subject and after while we develop the unit, pupils are asked to do the following activities. We have combined all types of activities to make sure that all the content has been acquired and apart from that, we would like that students use as much language as possible. In this project we have taken into account the age of the students, so that to make sure that everybody understand the vocabulary we have used some visuals; like photos and flashcards and realia as well. We think, it is the best way to make the language meaningful and help to develop the content of the project.
THE PROJECT Our project is called “ The five senses”, so that our main objective about that is by working some activities related to the sense of sight, touch, smell, taste and hearing they will learn content about this. So that, we care about the content of the project. The activities chosen for working this project are distributed on the following way: We use some teaching strategies like: Games: activities carried out in groups, the objective of this games are that children learn through interaction, communication. Art: do some experimental activities in order to introduce a sense. This will be manipulation tasks or experimental. Discussion activities: activities to promote talking about the content, in order to reinforce the activities done before. We will use such strategies like inclusive (help to understand the language), challenging, communicative. Questionnaires: to do some investigation about the topic. We use some teaching questions like: Recall questions: What part of the body do you use to smell with? Reasoning questions: Why is the sense of smell so important? Speculative questions: If we visited another classroom, would we
find the same eye colour more than any of the others? Why? Why not? Personal response questions: Would we find the same eye colour to
the most common if we had looked at the girl’s eyes? Boy’s eyes?
Finally we have to talk about the assessment part. We have focus the assessment of the project basically in oral questions or oral discussion. We have written some questions to let them think about the content they have previously learnt. Moreover, we have designed some drawing activities to make it more meaningful and funny for them.

THE FIVE SENSES THE SENSE OF SIGHT ACTIVITY 1 Game: Collect several items and place them in front of you. Have the children cover their eyes and remove one of the objects. After children have uncovered their eyes have them decide as a group which item is missing. ACTIVITY 2
COLORFUL EYES Students investigate eye color found most frequently among the boys and girls in the classroom.

ACTIVITY 1 Art: Make texture cards. Collect different samples of vinal wallpaper, cotten, sandpaper, sticks, leaves, tounge depressors, etc. Have the children glue the items on different cards. They can use the cards for sorting. ACTIVITY 2 The Braille alphabet was invented by Louis Braille to help people who are blind read. The Braille system uses a series of raised dots that people "read" with their fingers. To make your own set of Braille letters. Place a small dot of white glue on the black dots of each letter. When the glue dries, you will have created large Braille letters. Cut out each letter and try to arrange the letters in alphabetical order using your sense of touch.

THE FIVE SENSES THE SENSE OF SMELL ACTIVITY 1 Science: Make smelly jars and set them on your science table. Collect three or four baby food jars. Poke holes in the lid to let the fragrence out. In each jar put in a few pieces of cotten. In each jar add a different scent. For example, vanilla extract, lemon, pepermint drops, chocolate, water (remember water holds no scent), orange juice, etc. ACTIVITY 2 Discussion Present this situation to your students: You go on a trip in your car with your family. You take sandwiches to eat, but you stop at a restaurant to have dinner. The next day you want to eat your sandwiches, but when you open the package, the sandwich smells "funny." What should you do? THE FIVE SENSES THE SENSE OF TASTE ACTIVITY 1 Art: My favorite food collage. Supply each child with a paper plate. Allow the children to look through old magazines and cut out pictures of their favorite foods to glue on their plates. You can even laminate the plates and use them as place mats at lunch time!!!!! ACTIVITY 2 Game: Guess what is it? Materials Needed: Various foods for a tasting party. Lime, lemon, oranges, plum, kiwi, grapefruit, peaches, salt and sugar mixed, cucumber slices. Strategy: A guessing game. Meet in a small group. Let students identify food by taste. Blindfold student, give him or her some food to taste and ask to identify the taste. Is it sour, sweet, salty, or bitter? ACTIVITY 3 Draw 4 things you can taste.
THE FIVE SENSES THE SENSE OF HEARING ACTIVITY 1 Hide several objects (sticks, balls and bells that produce sound) behind a box or board. Students listen to the sounds each object makes and guess what it is. The students make a graph of the number of students that prefer a particular sound; they graph the data and from the graph, select the class favorite sound.

ACTIVITY 2 Discussion Talk about different jobs; a police officer, fire fighter or soldier. Discuss with the class what the hearing requirements are for the type of these works.
