PROFESSIONAL PROFILE Highly curious, open-minded, and enthusiastic foreign architect with 8+ years experience, with excellent capabilities to analyze, represent, and design architecture projects as part of a team or independently. I understand architecture as the formal, and material representation of society. So in that sense, I think there is an important relationship between people and the artificial environment: workplace, house or the city influences people’s behavior. I’m interested in the wide variety of scales and architectural programs of the built environment. In each project, I try to understand the client/user’s point of view, understand their interests, needs, and priorities as if they were mine. This is the starting point to reach a high architectonic quality, achieving emotional links between people and the built environment. Offering an authentic discovery journey having, as a result, an architecture that draws genuine emotions. EDUCATION •

LLANO GRANDE SHOPPING MALL INTERIOR DESIGN COMMERCIAL PALMIRA , COLOMBIA Llano Grande Shopping Mall in Palmira is a 2400 m 2 (7874 ft 2) project where we were wanted to respond to a tropical context and a urban environment, by creating an user experience that had three moments: Shopping in the rainforest, eating in an urban food market and working in the streets. In the first floor (shopping in the rainforest) the natural context enters into the mall creating a tropical atmosphere where families could enjoy shopping and cultural activities like: concerts, religious ceremonies or recreational activities. In the 2 nd floor, food and city (urban food market) get together in a controlled environment: the mall. Finally, in the higher floor we proposed to locate a coworking space and car exhibition spaces in a rough and urban environment: the street as work environment.

NKF INTERIOR DESIGN OFFICE MEXICO CITY A project for Newmark Knight and Frank in Mexico City 1800 m 2 (19375ft 2) we were briefed to design a contemporary office that mixed open office/ individual space and closed meeting rooms/ collaborative areas. Creating a dynamic, young and welcoming atmosphere that evokes a feeling of collaboration, openness and motivation. We tried to intertwine those elements with the usage of materials and colors. Container sheets indicating a sense of strength , inspirational typography in vibrant colors symbolising fun & youthfulness, open ceiling, etc were a few among them. The design focused to balance the raw environment with a soft dynamic space with the usage of subtle and soft elements as well.

GLOBANT 26TH ST INTERIOR DESIGN OFFICE BOGOTÁ Globant is a 1200m 2 (12916 ft 2) in Bogotá, Colombia. We were inspired by the concept of “travel”, we aim at experiences that could be generated in a long distance tray: to know other cultures, landscapes and to live unforgettable moments, take this concept of trip as a mind revitalizer. For this company, it is very important that its employees feel a sense of well-being and comfort in their work, for that reason they decided to implement concepts related to the company’s philosophy: to interact, to experiment, to travel, to discover, to play, to have a story to tell.

BLOOMBERG INTERIOR DESIGN OFFICE BOGOTÁ Bloomberg Offices is a 300 m 2 (984 ft 2) in Bogotá, Colombia. In order to connect Bloomberg’s corporate identity with Bogotá, our proposal identifies three key aspects or elements of the city’s character, that would be the basis of the project: The brick, the patio and the vernacular ornament. The look and feel was based on the idea of combining austere materials like wood, glass and shades of gray with materials that characterize Bogota City: Brick in terms of texture and color and vernacular metallic and ceramic ornaments.

ANTIGUA HOUSE INTERIOR DESIGN HOUSING BOGOTÁ This is a renovation project of a family house in Bogotá, Colombia 300m 2 ( 3229 ft 2). The owner was moving with his wife and kids to the house where he spent his childhood, so the idea that drives the project was to establish links and tensions between inside-outside, old-new by making a bold contrast. We brought back the original design of the house facade and exterior paving. On the interior, open and minimalist spaces were the rule.

CERROS DE LOS ALPES APARTMENT INTERIOR DESIGN HOUSING BOGOTÁ A renovation of two apartments in Bogotá, Colombia 326 m 2 ( 3509 ft 2). The idea of this project was to join two apartments that were one on top of the other trough a translucent stair. Two bedrooms and social areas like a family room, dining area, and kitchen were on the first floor. On the second floor the main bedroom and an outdoor terrace with a great view of the city were located.

ENEL COMMUNITY CENTER ARCHITECTURAL AND INTERIOR DESIGN CIVIC SOACHA, COLOMBIA This Community Center 400 m 2 (4305 ft 2) is located in Soacha, Colombia. The design intent was to generate a local low cost iconic building that reinterprets the vernacular materiality and constructive methods and provides a social container that revitalizes an insegure and deteriorated neighborhood. We contrasted low cost materials like CMU (concrete masonry unit), brick and rustic stucco with steel structural framing, having as a result, a contemporary/vernacular architectonic hybrid.

SUBACHOQUE HOUSE ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN HOUSE SUBACHOQUE, COLOMBIA
This house is located in Subachoque, Colombia. 400 m 2 (4305 ft 2) we meant to make a bold and austere statement by dividing the program into two independent volumes: Public (tectonic) - Private (stereotomic). The public volume was about openness, lightness, transparency and connection with the landscape; while the private volume was about limits and gravity. In the Public volume are located the kitchen, living room, dining room and family room. On the other hand, the main entrance, and three bedrooms are located in the private volume.

SUPER CADE MANITAS ARCHITECTURAL AND INTERIOR DESIGN INSTITUTIONAL BOGOTÁ This is an entry for an Architectural Competition in Bogotá, Colombia. It is an institutional building located next to an aerial tramway station in Ciudad Bolivar district, one of the largest slums in Bogotá. The building has a series of spaces accessible to the local community: meeting rooms, offices and exhibition spaces. The design intention was to offer public space, an interior park/patio to the City, between the aerial tramway station and the project, so the building reacts to the axis: urban environment - patio, with a fissure that structures the whole project.
