Join the 2017 IGR International Tour to Medellin, Colombia! 8-12 November, 2017 For the past two years, the San Francisco Fog has traveled to emerging rugby nations in the Americas. This year, we welcome all of our IGR friends to travel together to Medellin, Colombia as a combined IGR team to play the Medellin Fenix and the Medellin Petirojos. The games will culminate four days of camaraderie, adventure, cross-cultural explorations and fun! 14 October 2015: The San Francisco Fog in Havana, Cuba to play a select side when the travel embargo was still in place between Cuba and the US. Mojitos were had by all!

Our Mission: IGR teams are founded on principles of inclusion. We believe that our rugby community is truly global and that the respect of the game and its players transcends all other barriers. These trips show that our rugby community builds bridges that transcend divisions of nationality and class. Further, they show IGR teams leading US Rugby outreach in emerging rugby nations in the Americas, continually challenging stereotypes and helping other American nations popularize the sport. 11 November 2016: The San Francisco Fog playing the Guatemalan National Team in the Mayan Highlands of Quetzaltenango. The Fog was honored by a traditional Mayan ceremony before the game.
