The fee is $50 per child and includes a team uniform and participation medal to be given out to all participants at the end of the season. Volunteer Opportunities: If you would like to volunteer to coach for the Youth Center, there will be a mandatory coaches meeting on February 8, 2017 at the Teen Center from 4:30 pm - 5:30 pm. The Start Smart Program created by the National Alliance for Youth Sports helps kids get ready for sports and succeed in life. It is an innovative step-by-step approach that builds confidence and self-esteem in a fun and safe sports environment. The Start Smart Sports Development Program provides motor skill development that will help all children in sports. The second session of the year will cover the sport of golf. The Program will run for six weeks long. The program will cover basic golf skills, drills and positions. There will be a mandatory parent/child meeting on March 7, 2017 at 9 am and March 8, 2017 at 2 pm - 3 pm in the Youth Center Gym. PARENT PARTICIPATION IS MANDATORY for all who sign up for the Start Smart program. The Start Smart Program is great way to introduce sports by learning and having FUN.
