JANE COWMEADOW Website Re-Design
Jane Cowmeadow Communications Management (JCCM) is a leading sports management and communications agency working with a number of high profile Olympic medalists and sportspeople; Jessica Ennis-Hill, James Dasaolu and Claudia Fragapane to name a few. Check out the new site here: JCCM-UK.com Skills Demonstrated: Web Design | Client presentation & meetings
DESIGN APPROACH JCCM
During my role as Junior designer at 5or6 Design and Branding I lead in the redesign of JCCM’s website. From our initial research and kickstarter meetings it was clear a more accessible and well laid out site was needed. Jane also expressed the desire for additional features such as Social media and Video elements. Check out the new site here: JCCM-UK.com
Original website
HILLCREST ACADEMY Website Re-Design
Hillcrest academy is a charter school based out in Pheonix Arizona, with a clear vision for academic excellence. To coincide with the opening of their new campus, a new website was to be developed. Skills Demonstrated: Web Design | International communication
DESIGN APPROACH Hillcrest Academy
During my role as Junior designer at 5or6 I was tasked to lead the design of a website for school in america, Hillcrest. I wanted to lead with a block approach with sidebar navigation. The colours set into the page allowing the user to focus on the main content with the enrol and contact buttons at the top being the focal point to grab users attention. Unfortunately this project’s communication fell through and it was never developed :(
Original website
IFA
Website Re-Design The International Futsal Academy based in Loughborough attracts many of most promising and developing players from all around the world, earning a globally recognised and respected degree level education. The International Futsal Academy is firmly established as the country’s leading Independent Futsal and Education Programme. Check out the new site here: internationalfutsalacademy.com Skills Demonstrated: Web Design | Client presentation & meetings
BRIEF & APPROACH IFA
During my role as Junior designer at 5or6 Design and Branding I lead in the redesign of the IFA’s website. From our intial research and kickstarter meetings it was clear there were two main aspects to the business; Futsal and Education, I found a lot of the information that they wanted to come across could be categorised into these two areas.
Original website
SOLUTION I FA
With the website being the first gateway into the program it was important to make the website as simple as possible and reducing click throughs so the user could get the information they wanted quickly. Take a look at, internationalfutsalacademy.com
BEN CROUCHER Website Re-Design
Ben Croucher a sports broadcaster for the BBC. Covering major sporting events such as London 2012, Country Cricket and much more. Check out his new site here: bencroucher.co.uk Skills Demonstrated: Web Design | One-to-one Client communications
DESIGN APPROACH Croucher Re-Design
During my role as Junior designer at 5or6 Design and Branding I lead in the re-design of the Ben’s website. His website would act as his online CV displaying articles he has written and using social media to keep the site dynamic. With clear contrast and an uncluttered layout the visitor can easily navigate through the site.
MAVERICK COFFEE Coffee Shop, Arizona
Maverick Coffee is the creation from Steven Lewis and Mitchell Watt, two Olympic athletes from opposite sides of the World first bought together by their love of coffee. Skills Demonstrated: Web Design | Branding | International Communications
BRIEF & APPROACH Maverick Coffee
During my role as Junior designer at 5or6 Design and Branding I lead in the design of Maverick’s business cards and website. I worked closely with Steve to create the artwork for the Logo and business cards, designing a range of ideas for his selection. The website would act as a means to locate and examine the menu of the unique coffee shop.
SOLUTION
Maverick Coffee Because of the simplicity of the site not much content was needed. Organising this content needed to be intuitive and make sense to the user straight as well.
