Information is the lifeblood of any business. But it can also be one of its biggest obstacles—overwhelming people and processes with a deluge of data from mail, email, legacy systems, and internal programs such as Microsoft.

This seminar, led by John Schneider, Director of Professional Services for Toshiba Business Solutions, will focus on a best practices approach to effectively managing and leveraging the massive amount of data your organization faces. It’s a solution that is being used today by thousands of companies to simplify their information management and speed their electronic workflow. Shouldn’t yours be one? Please RSVP by calling Tenant Services at 925.543.0100.

Entrepreneurship Within Your Corporation! Wednesday, April 18, Noon – 1pm Bishop Ranch Conference Center Bishop Ranch 3 2623 Camino Ramon, 175 Free, Includes a light lunch

Many of us think of entrepreneurship only as creating a startup. However, the exact same skills that work for startups also work for individuals in larger organizations. In fact, they may actually work better. It’s a skill called Intrapreneurship, and during this fun hour, Wil Agatstein—Executive Director of the Institute for Innovation and Entrepreneurship at UC Davis and retired VP of Channel Sales and Marketing at Intel—will show you how it can transform your company. Be forewarned: you will walk out with an action plan! Please RSVP by calling Tenant Services at 925.543.0100

Executive Profile

George Phirippidis CEO, Kerr Hill, Inc.

Source of inspiration: “Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill. This

was the first success-based book I read 30 years ago, and it inspired me to apply the success methods of Henry Ford, Thomas Edison, Andrew Carnegie and others into my life.

Since then, I have had an ongoing interest in personal and professional development. Having read many books and having applied many

success-based practices, I have realized what proven methodologies

can do for you. My career path led me to Kerr Hill, where I have been able to help many people take success to the next level.

Best way to motivate staff: Ask what motivates and de-motivates

them, listen to what they want and need to succeed in their role and then act on it. Fuel their motivators, eliminate or reduce their de-

motivators. Be available to have dialogue and coach them. Hold them accountable to the goals they set.

Suggestions for young executives: Balance your leadership

development with getting business executed. A driving, bottom line

focused leader will get results, but at a potential cost to people on their team or in the organization. You can better leverage your success by being aware of your leadership strengths and weaknesses. Beyond awareness, work on changing aspects of your skill sets that will

your teams and you will experience a greater level of gratifying success. A goal you still want to achieve: Taking Kerr Hill intellectual property (i.e. our tools, training programs and professional development
