JSU CAREER 2020-21: Started 25 of the 26 games he played in during his first season with the Gamecocks...made his first career start Nov. 25 at Alabama...named to the Ohio Valley Conference All-Newcomer team following the season... averaged 10.4 points per contest while shooting 58 percent from the field...earned his first career double-double with 16 points and 16 rebounds at Eastern Kentucky on Jan. 7, 2021... tallied his second double-double the next game with 13 points and 10 rebounds at Morehead State on Jan. 9...hit the game-winning shot over Tennessee State with five seconds to play Jan. 14, finishing with a career-high 17 points against the Tigers...increased his career-high to 20 points Jan. 23, 2021, at Austin Peay...finished the year with 270 points, 169 rebounds, and 4 steals.

PRIOR TO JSU North Carolina - Three Seasons Spent his first three season at North Carolina playing for head coach Roy Williams… comes to Jacksonville State as a senior… played just 14 games while battling a knee injury in 2019-20… in 70 games as a Tar Heel, the forward scored 96 points, swatted 14 shots and grabbed 78 rebounds… scored his singleseason highs in points (47), rebounds (42), field goals (19) and blocks (8) as a freshman in 201718… scored a career-high seven points against UNCW and tallied another six against Wake Forest as a sophomore... also scored four points against Tennessee Tech with a season-high four rebounds in 2018-19... made his college debut in 2017-18 against Northern Iowa.

HIGH SCHOOL Played for Coach Brian Clifton at Word of God Christian Academy in Raleigh... averaged 16.1 points, 14.2 rebounds and 2.2 blocks per game as a senior... comes from a military family... spent part of his youth living in Anchorage, Alaska... earned first-team all-state honors in Alaska leading West Anchorage to a 4-A state title... scored 23 points and had 24 rebounds in the state championship game... honor roll and principal’s list student at Word of God.

PERSONAL Born Brandon Karl Huffman in Goldsboro, N.C... son of Byron and Varanda Huffman... birthday is April 2... began playing basketball at age 14 in church leagues…majoring in integrated studies.
