In the natural world, snakes perform valuable environmental services that benefit other species and even the human population. Nov. 27 / Ages: 12 and up / Fee: Free / Pavilion / Saturday, 9:30-11:30 a.m. Late autumn is a great time to take a leisurely guided walk along paved and mostly shaded trails through Rothenbach Park. Learn about the history of the site and the interesting blend of uses that make this site unique. Discuss the native and non-native plants and animals that live at the park and the techniques employed by the county to protect and preserve the habitat. ELEVATE fitness course at Rothenbach Park brings together a series of challenging physical obstacles that an individual or team can take on! Levels of challenge include options for beginners, intermediate and advanced fitness users ages 5+.
